It would be very interesting to work improving the issue of audio on Hawkboard, allowing hamradio users to make more experimentations, like putting one microphone on a "line in" port for example. Being both open source, I suggest that you guys make some joint experimentation, mixing this with an Arduino kit, so it will be possible to discover new features on Software Defined Radio. I suggest this as another way to use this wonderful resource. ;-)
ah, i wondered what, at 1:30, the white blob above the serial port is: then it hit me: that's the the back of the tiny usb wifi adapter snuggled into the usb slot! then it disappears for the rest of the video.
of course it does much more than combine a word processor with a screen that holds perfectly still--something i've been looking for for 15 years--but that's the important part of it to me. as writing is the most important activity in our culture, i regard what you have done here as the most important technological development since the personal computer. THANK YOU!
