Ning An is such a charming, witty, and funny man! These are only a few of his wonderful characteristics. I had the pleasure of sitting in on a masterclass and concert he held at my university this past spring. It's one thing to hear/see him play on Youtube and CD, but it is quite another to sit and watch him be engrossed. So many idiosyncrasies! He presents a feast of which every artist lives to consume: air, depth, love, "wehmut," etc. You're there with him. Living. Hats off Mr. Ning An!

well executed. on the sentimental side. the piano is so bright, it tampers with the subtle characteristics and beauty of chopin's music
