  • Guys, when you only say 'Hatsune' it's not the proper way to say a name, at least add a 'san' or something to it. It's like calling someone Smith when their first name is John. Call her Miku, not just Hatsune, it's just...weird.

  • This is the next way to watch anime concert! WTB Lacus Clyne animated like this too=P!!

  • Lalalalala.... 1 2 3 4! XD that's what I like another thing about you Mikuchan, you're cute and funny! :D

  • 1:30 Overload of cuteness

  • Anyone know the name of the song?

  • @TheFellowOtaku

    Koisuru Voc@loid /Voc@loid in love

  • @leinadyon Thanks! \(^o^)/

  • where's the 1080p version i thought this was Miku's channel :(

  • this is like a weed for your ears.

    I'm so high..

  • I wonder if there will ever be an official Hatsune Miku album

  • The animator showed her working for those high notes in the middle... subtle brilliance.

  • D: 6 people were hit with leeks when they were a child

  • They look like they are having lots of fun O.o

  • The technology's cool and all, but this kinda makes me feel sorry for our society. People say rap and hip hop takes no skill, but to have this big of an audience for a computer-generated song with a computer-generated performer? Music really is dead.

  • @GreySandProductions

What exactly do you mean by computer generated song. The sounds are synthesized but the melody and lyrics are made by human input. If you're being critical about synthetic music as in violin or guitar vs electrical violin or guitar you can make an argument. If your belief is that a software program automatically generated this song, you're completely missing the point. Oh by the way ever heard of auto-tune?

  • @TheSubtitler Using synthesizing programs, including AutoTune, almost completely removes the talent required in playing and instrument and singing vocals. Correct me if I'm wrong, but last I heard, the lyrics are electronically generated. Hell, mute people could make one of these songs.

Oh, and it would be kinda creepy if these songs were made by 50 year-old men... using these girls as their persona... o.o

  • @GreySandProductions Whats the difference between old men making music and old men making anime? I'm sure little teeny bopper girls arn't making all the girly manga and anime that comes out, its generally old men. Its the same thing, an expression of artistic intrests.

  • @GreySandProductions

Miku is a piece of software, a musical software that requires talent to use properly, it was been designed for use of composers that usually DO not sing.

Miku and other charactesrs, as seen in scene is a product of love and talent, Is the sum of composers, animators, musicians, players. .

Theres is nothing creepy about it.

  • @elnauhual I can do that too! :) Forced interrogation, a product of ambition and knowledge, is the sum of knowledgeable researchers, advanced tools, and talent.

There is nothing sadistic about it.

  • @GreySandProductions

¿? that seems like a very faulty analogy.. Forced interrogation is innately sadistic by definition

while creating a work of art requires love and talent... Unless you consider music a form of torture...

Vocaloid software is a tool for musicans and composers. I does not replacement for creativity.

  • @elnauhual The problem with the software is that it's music composition, animation, and nothing else. There is no live in-person talent required to use it, other than the ability to compose (and have someone work on animations). Even then, the animations aren't required (though they are cool), just as music in general doesn't require music videos. Imagine classical music, except with the orchestra replaced by speakers. It's not the same. If this is the future of music, expect an onslaught of it.

  • @GreySandProductions

I see no problem, Since the 80,s musicans have been using note by note writting, or correcting by hand mistakes, and "tape splicing" has been used since tape was invented to correct performances.

What I see is an explosion of creativity, People who can not afford to have a singer or can not sing is able to create. So far there are more than 30,000 composition written for Miku alone. Vocaloid is no diferent than use a sampled orchestra,

  • @GreySandProductions

Sorry, I just realize you are new to vocaloid...

vocaloid is a musical software with a huge user base. Just for Miku there must be about 100,000 legal copies. Many of that user-base are "bed room composers" who usually would have little opportunity to show their compositions.

That user base has generated more than 30,000 songs, just for Miku. This concert is based on the most popular of them. They were not commissioned to composers...

  • @GreySandProductions The technology used for Hatsune Miku and the other Vocaloids, and of corse, UTAUloids, is really hard to use. try looking up UTAU songs with amatuers that are just learning to use the product. It sounds AWFUL. But it takes practice, like anything else. And yes, its not a real person, and all that. But it does take talent to make it sound good. And its Mikus own unique voice. Look up other Vocaloid songs. They each have their own sound, their own way to say things. Open mind.

  • OH MAH GAH! WE LOVE CHU MIKU-CHAN!!

  • super!

  • :DDDDDD HER CHANNELS HERE X3 Hatsune miku WE LOVE YOU XDDDDD

  • 1:23Epic negi glowstick XD

  • Japanese nerds made her songs!!!!

  • @nakamurakennzi

Pianists, Guitarists, Drummers, Violinists, Song Composers, all of these people help each other to make a song, they have creativity, musicality and they would be called nerds? just because they put a little effort in learning to use the program and other CG programs doesn't mean they are nerds. If most people who makes her songs are nerds, then prove it.

  • @JGJAdaoag i believe that hes talkng about the bedroom composers that made the majority of her songs.

  • spread your voice!!!

  • nice!!
