  • don't pay attention to the negative remarks....keep at it.

  • 9 months indeed develope ur fingers like eagle claws so ur tone can ring and both ur hands arnt in sync yet but not bad lil nigga

  • well... too much chords wrong.. sorry

  • Nice playing man, superb for 9 months! make sure you keep slowing it right down though, or you will find some bad habits developing (from personal experience)

  • good job, try not to jump so high off the fretboard with your fingers.

  • sounds like a big pile of shit,... post a video when you know the song, or try to learn something less advanced, for that matter don't attempt to learn any Yngwie songs, that goes for everyone on youtube !!!

  • Do you actually feel comfortable holding the pick like that? You're not holding it properly, it'll be harder for you to get the harmonics out of the strings later on, when you actually realize that speed means nothing without character and fluency, not to mention heart...

  • @Ledhearted you're right man except for th thing about the pick which is partly right...I actually watched a video with dave mustaine who said that he holds the pick so that he leaves only the point and he bends it a little so it goes fasteron the strings...

  • You are a douche. Who the fuck cares about your alleged 9 months. Come back when you CAN play.

  • this is terrible.

  • Dude, I've been playing guitar for little over 2 years now, I'm not playing for hours every day since I'm really busy, but after my first 9 months I could do the same thing, take few days to learn a song by tabs and play it all messed up like you did, if you thing this is really great for 9 months, think again, your vibrato is bad and overall timing, guitar isn't a race, gilbert didn't know how to alternete pick for 4 years, so take your time, and show us your progress after few years ^^, peace

  • It does sound like 9 months, so it isnt too amazing...

  • I got this album when it first came out on a whim back in high school. This song specifically made me get a guitar and learn how to play. Keep rockin.

  • hey man, great job! 9 months is pretty sketchy, but your right, it amazes people. technically, ive barely been playing around a year, please check out my videos and leave a comment

    Rock on!!

  • @Guitarman461

    ty=)

  • great!... but i think, you should try to play an incredibles The offspring's solos or maybe...pussycat dolls...

  • no ma q asko aparte de q ni va al tiempo nop se la sabe entonces io tambn puedo jugar a guitar hero y fingir q la toco como MALMSTEEN

  • sounds like 9 mo's to me. Tab and practice, sure, he can develop quickly, especially with today's tools.

  • maybe he has been playing for 9 months, this is not so fluid, he's got.. wieird fingerings... i mean wrong.

  • its really obvious thats he has not been playing for a lot of time he has a lot of mistakes in his technique but anyways good playing for only 9 months

  • i did this song my first time playing guitar

  • Good attempt, there are lots of mistakes but you've done well to learn what you have within nine months, remember when you play a piece like vengeance you should understand what and why things are happening.

  • i believe you've played it for 9 moths... acutally PLAYING THE GUITAR for 9 months... that is 6480 hours

  • @JonteTheMan1 Ive played the guitar for 1 year, and am much ahead than this, because I played 8 hours every day :D

  • @nashicobresciani Nice. But like this guy, he has pedals and everything. Not many people who played for 9 months got that.

  • @JonteTheMan1 Hmm, ya youre right lol, but my case is diffrent, my dad is a musician so its pretty eay with pedals, lol, just got a line 6 spider later.

  • @nashicobresciani Yeah I understand you're good if your dad's a musician :) I've got a Line6 Spider IV 75. I've played for 2 years soon but I'm not great, I guess that's cause I more play it for a hobby than to be the best on it.

  • @JonteTheMan1 Nice!

  • ive bene playing for 7 years great job i woulndt dae tackle this stuff at 9 months congrats

  • i believe ya man-and i'm being honest,i think i did better at 3 months.

  • Dude, tell me, how did your guitar got setted up?

Is it Gibson or Epiphone and how's your fretbuzz, does the note fade out when you bend in high frets?

  • 1. Work on timing- working with a metronome would be a great benifit to you

    2. if you want to be better you need to work on the sloppyness abit your doing not bad regardless of how long you have been playing but even the most advance guitarist knows one sloppy note can ruin an entire song. so work on you precision when hitting notes

    3. learn to bit a little tougher on yourself. its good but there are wrong notes spread every where, poor timing and sloppy played chords and notes.

  • This kind of guitar playing gets right on my tits.

Imagine being locked in a room, for a few years with this playing 24/7. It would drive you fucking insane.

In saying that most things would, but there is plenty of guitar music you could come away with your sanity intact, you just might never want to hear that tune ever again.

As for his playing, its good. like I said not my cup of tea.

If hes understating the time hes only lying to himself. I have noticed people like understating time served.

  • 9 months? mate, all the techniques you use is NOT something you learn in 9 months. no one would honestly give 2 fucks even if it were your skills of 9 months. it does not make you seem or look any better. you are good, but no need to bullshit on how long you've been playing for. i doubt you'd own that equipment after that period of time.

  • good work :) I've played solo master of puppets after 6-7 months of playing so... It's possible if you are training every day :) 4/5 - (mistakes)

  • this guy must be eager for attention......

  • You know, there's a chord that's wrong over there... instead of an A5 it's a D5...

Still, if you learned it by ear, congrats, it's a hard song. But keep in mind that there's always room for improving, specially when we talk in terms of speed and precision... or clean tone, if you preffer. Of course, it's a little sloppy but still very good for 9 months.

Congratulations, and keep up the good work, but never forget the basics of practice. They can make you the next Yngwie!

  • actually learn these song in 9 moths is possible but u need play guitar every fucking day of that 9 moths

  • lol, the comments made me wanna watch. why is everyone so concerned with the 9 months? looks like 9months worth of skill to me. good job kid.

  • i dont know what you guys have, he doesnt even hit the hither notes so?

  • meh, it's pretty sloppy, a year might be believable

  • He lied, but not too much. I think he's playng around a year and a half. His left hand on the fret is really weak, not trained for a long period. His muscles can't follow the tempo of his right (picking) hand. Also he doesn't have the power needed for a nice vibrato. In contrast, his right hand is well trained, and shows that he's got potential.

  • Hmmm... lots of mistakes and techniques and hearing needs lots of brushing up, otherwise good effort.

  • his sound is very 9 months ish. u can hear his mistakes and his missed notes. he have only been playing for 9 months. iv been playing for 3 years, and iv listed alot of music and studied music.. it is possible for him to only have been playing. just keep it up dude.. try to fix the pitch arond, and make it sound cleaner

  • yngwie is mostly phrygian and harmonic minor, and the bands you listed playing are mostly pentatonic and blues scales. i dont get it. did you practice this song at all before you played it

  • but other than that great job especially for just nine months keep at it unbelievable potential

  • quite the accomplishment for nine months but i would take a closer look at your articulation seems a little sloppy but not anywhere near unfixable just practice the song slower with a metronome

  • @2010Clicker

This just a webcam and adhesive tape=))

  • looks like your going to take it to ext level , you rock and your a quick learner. NICE.

  • Dont listen to any one . the hader the song you try to accomplish the faster youll get better . i played cannon rock my 3rd month starting guitar

  • 9 months of playing, and you have a massive set up of guitar pedals? Your either LOADED and OBSESSIVE about guitar..... Or your full of shit. :)

  • @WazzooSam

ye, If I can buy it, why not?

  • very well done for 9 months =] imo thing to improve is.....your tone...its a little to "high" ....and if put your picking hand into a fist sometimes itll block unwanted string noice =]

  • dude even if you have been playing for 9 months, you really shouldn't write that in the description, it makes you sound like a total arrogant egocentric cock...

  • dude i can say only one thing awesome ! Thumbs up if you agree that he is awesome for playin only 9 months !!!

  • I learned to FLY in about a bit more than a year. No teacher, just internet, youtube and MOTIVATION. Check out my vids to see how far I am, I started playing on April 2009

  • @Blader999

That really cool dude, thrumbs up!

  • Bullshit, you've not been playing for only nine months in this video. I think you seek attention. it took me and many other guitarists numerous years to develop these techniques. I think you've been playing forever and this is the best you can do. Guitar prodigy? I think not.

  • @bmassa4

so funny see a reaction of ppls when thay don't belive, that's meens I was make a good work)

  • @Inkomgffs This means you need a good grammar. :)

  • @Inkomgffs well people have to take you at face value, if you say 9 months it's 9 months then. They ought not to speculate, as they have no real evidence to refute what you state (the video?? lol, No.)

  • @bmassa4 well, maybe some people can get into it quickly and easily... like my friend... shredding after 1 month, and he is fucking good...

people like you are just shit... pure stinking shit...

if it takes you YEARS to do this kind of stuff then you suck ass

anybody could learn this in 1 month... you just have to practice for like 6 hours a day...

dont be sucha hater, and fuck off :]

  • @ChazFoulstone theres a statement that many musicians use "its easy to impress the musically naive" so your friend might seem good to you after 1 month of playing, but it is physically impossible to develop the muscle memory and perfect technique in such little time... and being a musician is NOT a competition who cares how long it takes to accomplish something, its a hobby!

sure some people are prodigies but this guy is NOT!

  • @6EELZE6U6666 well said. thumbs up.

  • @ChazFoulstone I'm not hating by any means. I'm being dead honest. The song itself is easy, if you have the proper techniques learned. Stop acting like you can learn the song so quickly, If you believe that, it's bull-shit, and you're kidding yourself. There's a reason why Yngwie malmsteen is Yngwie Malmsteen.

  • @ChazFoulstone Ha... HA... HA. Let me see you learn this in one one month and post a video.... It takes alot of balls to say something like that, so if you can prove it, I'll say I'm a little bitch who wants attention. Like I said, nobody can learn this song but a pro in 9 months EVEN if they put every waking hour into it. I've been playing for 12 years now, spent 5 years at Las Vegas Academy, and it still takes me about a week to learn an yngwie song. You're obviously a pseudo-noob-troll. lol

  • @ChazFoulstone and also, as a non-guitar player, I doubt you can even recognize what good is. no doubt your friend probably picked up quickly, but "fucking good" is a phrase in which you should use with discretion. smoke on the water and that gay power chord shit will impress anyone who doesn't play, so before you open your mouth you might want to learn a thing or two about what you're talking about.

  • @bmassa4 i am a guitarist, ive been playing for 2 years

and when i say fucking good, i mean he is good for the amount of time and practice he has put into it.

not saying he is fucking good overall, because he still has alot more to learn than just shredding

  • @ChazFoulstone hah? years? you're absolutely correct. This doesn't happen overnight. Why did I post A response earlier? because you're a naive fag. Do you play guitar? didn't think so. And even if you do, which I doubt; you don't just pick one up and start learning advanced techniques like Yngwie right off the bat. I doubt you're friend knows anything about reverse picking, sweeps, harmonic pinch's or even about a simple fucking scale. ! year of playing, no ,matter what dedication level...

  • @bmassa4 And as for me? I've majored in guitar for 5 years.(on top of 6 before then.) Take your uneducated trolling elsewhere.

  • @bmassa4 i already told you ive been playing guitar for 2 years... learn to read...

i never said he just picked it up and started learning, im saying that he plas for about 3 hours, every single day, and doesnt stop...

anyone could be this good if you just practice all the time, its not hard, its just practice

make sure you know what your talking about before you start talking, kay?

  • @bmassa4 no dude u look at asian kids or classicaly trained

whenever i hear its one of them coming its time to step aside

  • @nolan30000 LOL! I can't even understand your comment! Are you mentally retarded?

  • @nolan30000 lol! thumbs up!

  • @bmassa4; Actually, if a song as simple as this took you years to develop the techniques for, then you are a horrible guitarist or are just trying to be an ass. Look how sloppy he plays in this video, it is entirely believable that he had only been playing for 9 months at that point. I know plenty of people that could play basic stuff like this within the first year, including myself.

  • @InFlam3sW3Trust He's playing incredibly sloppy. But on the same token, there's no way you can learn this in nine months... Seriously. think about it. Like I said and I HATE REPEATING MYSELF, Inside-outside picking, 1/16-1/32 notes and muscle memory alone takes at least two years to an EXTREMELY dedicated guitarist to develop. And as for credentials, I majored in guitar for three years at the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies And Performing arts, on top of the 8 years I had already.

  • @bmassa4; You do have to factor in one's natural talents. Within my first about..6 or 7 months or so of playing, I had learned advanced techniques and was able to utilize them fairly well. I have been playing half-assed for about 3-4 years and am way above the level I should be for the amount that I play. I'm just saying, it is possible. I will agree that, for the average person, what you are saying is entirely true. I apologize for any hostility I may have shown, it just seemed like you were

  • @bmassa4; being a dick, but that is obviously not the case, since you evidently know what you are talking about. On a side note, my one video of me playing does not reflect my ability. It was a horrible sloppy cover just to prove to a friend I could play in some shape or form, done in 1 take at 2 in the morning with the shittiest of webcams. Just wanted to clear that up in case you felt like countering my claim that I am better than I should be for 3-4 years of casual playing.

  • @InFlam3sW3Trust I don't attack anyone's skill, I encourage guitar playing. I kinda just dont like attention seekers. My videos here on my other channel are nothing special either.

  • @bmassa4 i so agree with u...dude lnkomgffs yngwie's techniques or in other words neoclassical techniques r not blink 182 or sum 41 techniques sooo took me like 2 years of hard working just to play far beyond the sun so bullshit u r a really good guitar player but dont try to bullshit the people hehehe

  • @cabitothekid heys not even playing something that complecated so id say its about 9 months

  • @bmassa4 dude.... it took u yrs to do tht???? lmfao thts nothing extreme...

  • @bmassa4 i can play it and ive been playing the guitar for about 2 years

  • @bmassa4 hey, you know some people put their heart and soul into things. when you want to learn something its not that hard. especially if you practice for a long time each day. anything is possible. if you listen to the whole thing he fucks up numerous times. and is not in time the whole time. but meh. i dont think this is faked. when you have tabs. its so fucking easy to learn songs

  • @bmassa4. When I started playing guitar, after being bored by Limp Bizkit, Korn and Metallica songs I've then been shown Yngwie Malmsteen by my uncle. In the same year I've learned a couple of his riffs and played with some cool songs; FBTS, I'LL STLT, AFH, IDS Opus 5, F&I , Black Star, NYSAB, AASB, Trilogy, Evil Eyes and a couple more. Far from a prodigy because of a bad technique. I was listening to some melodic metal at the same time then SX, Opeth, etc... He might had played only 9 months..

  • @bmassa4 Actually I could play Rising Force's solo in 9 months, also Metallica - Master of puppets with all solos.. Years? If you practice hard enough 1 technique could be achieved in 1 week or days..

  • I believe he's only been playing for nine months, because there is a serious lack of skill/ attention to detail in this cover.

  • @StNibbleswick he's not even in the right tuning lol. ...even though my cover is shit

  • @StNibbleswick It IS IMPOSSIBLE to develop inside/outside picking, decent precision, and not to mention 1/16 notes in under a year. As a guitarist, you should know better. This guy is simply seeking attention. simple as that. I could not play 1/16 notes till at least 3 1/2 years after playing. Might I add that I played about 6 hours a day.

  • @bmassa4 While you do make valid points, and while you're probably right about him not having played for 9 months, I can't imagine him having played for very long, this cover is VERY sloppy and has alot wrong with it.

  • @StNibbleswick agreed. it is sloppy as hell, I've been playing for about 12 years now, and personally I learned the song in about 2 days. my only quam with this guy is that I just see it hard to believe that he picked up these techniques, albeit sloppy, in nine months.

  • @bmassa4 agree absolutely 100% it takes a hell of a long time to develop perfect technique, Christ sweep picking took me damn near 3 years to get half decent at it...

  • @6EELZE6U6666 THANK YOU!

  • wow wat person that has played for nine months knows a malmsteen song, has set up a truss rod and intonation perfectly, has very good technique, has a rather complex pedal system, and the ability to remembr this whole song. none if u ask me. fake description

  • you might have worked on this song for 9 months but no fucking way you've only played for 9 months

  • @HaseoxxOrion

I really was played only 9 month, and I was playing not this song only.

  • @Inkomgffs And nou you are playing with our minds !!

  • @Inkomgffs I believe you, I was at about this level after about 9 months. I think you would agree , it's a little messy, but your definitely heading in the right direction, big time! Guitar is your thing for sure!

  • @Inkomgffs Totally believable!!! Dude I amaze and astonish people when I play and tell them iv only been playin for a year and some. Best feelin in the world.

  • @florez117

    Thanks man)

  • @HaseoxxOrion; Well this song isn't really that hard, it's entirely possible to learn the techniques required for basic scales and arpeggios and such within 9 months. Not to mention he is playing it fairly sloppy. So yes, he could have definitely been playing for 9 months.

  • @HaseoxxOrion

    I was

  • @HaseoxxOrion what if he worked on his guitar for 6 hours a day, for the entire 9 months?

maybe it would seem more believable...

i hate how everyone is acting all sceptical... he can do it, and he says 9 months... your just not taking into account how many hours a day he plays in those 9 months...

my friend plays 4 hours a day, and after 6 months, he is shredding like fuck... plus his memory is good... and he could quite easily accomplish this song, with some time...

    fuck off, dick head ¬¬

  • @ChazFoulstone bull shit. I admit, playing at least 4 hours a day will set you on a good path, but there is no way in fucking hell you'll play this song in that time. NO WAY. do you play guitar? if yes than how long? I've played for 12 years now, Took me a long time to develop perfect technique for this.

  • that is one hell of a low action....

  • i dont understand y people disliked that? its pretty cool though :P

  • I dont want to sound like a douche, but have you actually practiced the fundamental points of guitar playing, and the basic techniques? Rather than trying to replicate a style or sound...

  • more cleaning to do..

I mean, the song is great but you are getting dirty stuff..

    keep practicing!

  • sweet same pedal as me

  • this is very impressive !!!

I also play and yeah I now how difficult it is to play ;)

    more stuff keep rock'n

  • @chhrriissss

    ty)

  • i like your style for 9 months playing (Y)

  • by looking at the strings it looks like you have corrosive fingers. dont worry, i have it too. basically the sweat from you fingers of course gets on the strings, causing them to corrode, and thats how you get the black gunk on your high 3 strings.

  • @emunan12 No shit? I had no clue. NOT. Why are you stating the obvious on an obviously guitar-player geared video? Dumbass.

  • Comment removed

  • @emunan12 sorry about my last comment. I was trashed last night.

  • poor finger strength, no vibrato, no bends, no muting.... 9 months maybe.

  • you sure do like low action of the strings ^_^ nice tough

  • 9 months playing only Vengeance and you might play it like that!!!

  • This guy hasn't been playing for nine months. I'm positive of that, being a guitar player myself.

  • Might have been mentioned before, too lazy to go through the comments:P

    It's a good cover, but on the intro, (excluding playing open string cause that'd take forever to type out) it should be;

3-7-8-12-8-7-3-7, where as you play a 3 at the end. Otherwise it's a good cover, especially after 9 months!

  • you made a typo. you spelled years wrong, you put 9 months. lol

  • BE QUICK! OR BE DEAD! Sounds like this maiden' s song ;D

  • lol 9 months...

  • coky fuck

  • I can't play a guitar with low action like this... IDK why though

  • close but tuning is a half step down. and do you read tabs, cuz i can send you some that are pretty accurate (except for the main solo)

  • you clipped the camera to the headstock?

  • @flowerdrop1

ye, a web camera, but this cam have a shit microphone, and this is reflected on sound

  • he must have the pick of destiny

  • how long have u been practicing this song, 9 months? lol

  • @iamseph

I was played alots of Ac/Dc songs, Mettalica, DP, Black Sabbath and enother

  • @iamseph; That's about how long it takes to give birth to a masterpiece. I'm currently in my second trimester.

  • you're like that malmsteen video, awful...

  • that what dreadfull to hear, try to pick a little cleaner, and read the tabs again...managed to play this song half a year after i started

  • 9 months? then you are the shit, leave out of college and s get yourself a band, you have a contract with the devil or u have his pick!

  • @jjiikler

hehe that was a really hardcore. First year, when I get a guitar, I was like a fanatic, I play hold day - from wake up to going at sleep.

  • no way u play 9 months.....

  • lies. nobody plays that short and gets that good. What a fag..

  • Low action, motivation and activity, thats how you get good quick. I play for almost a year now and I stick to the Children of Bodom. Yngwie is just too much theory and im too lazy for that :D

  • @Blader999 C.O.B is good, but their riffs and solos are nothing special. Yngwie is way better than their guitarist.

  • lol and 2:57 therre goes something else you should try it ;)

  • its should be played on the A string but never the less i can see no other faults other than some little stumbles but we all do that

  • liar.....

  • Comment removed

  • Not only are you nowhere near the level to attempt advanced music like this - but more importantly you also seem to be tone deaf, since you cant hear that you're playing in the wrong key.

  • UGH!

  • you cant expect to play this after 9 months of playing. YOu shouldnt attempt malmsteen until atleast 3 years. Took me 2 years to be able to play this

  • my last comment was dericted to diamondbacksam not to (just saying so people dont think im a btch)

  • nice

  • good, but practice more, start with some slower stuff, or some homemade scale work, that's always fun. keep at it.

  • with respect man, if youve only been playing for 9 months, no way should you be attempting yngwie-stle stuff.

  • @afterlivea7x

    thx)

  • 9 months, go to your doctor appointment fagget, and dont be late.

  • fro 9 months playing this isnt that good but keep playing ull get better

  • shut up id bet any money hes better then you

  • ive been playing for 3 months and i can already play this (not perfectly but better) and dude i said just keep playing ull get better i wasnt disrespecting him/telling him he sucks b/c no one sucks they just need to practice more so stfu right back... dam people just like to hate

  • -.- don't belive you im sure you got more if you can play that song decently.

  • i never said decently just a little better

  • @kalamari125 We are definitely not hating. Could you learn Icelandic (the language) in nine months? Totally doubt it. Like guitar, There are countless combinations, not to mention the muscle memory required to play this. If you think he learned this in less than a year, you're fucking crazy.

  • @bmassa4 i could probly learn that language in 9 months im a quick learner it really amazes me why people dont learn as quickly as i do but idk thats just me also this song isnt as hard as some of his other songs so yes he can learn it in 9 months and its not like he played the solo -_- a person whos been playing for a week and practicing hard can learn this song in 2 weeks tops if hes really dedicated to learning it at least i know i could if i was dedicated but of course im lazy as fk

  • @kalamari125 BULL-FUCKING-SHIT! TRY LEARNING ENGLISH FIRST! I cannot believe your audacity! You Sicken me!

  • if u wanna see a version faster than Yngwie's.. then u try this Myanmar version "Vengenace - Iron Cross (Chit San Maung Cover)"

  • Play songs you can play, lol
