I love how some people hate on new ff games and star ocean like the comments below. I like all the old and new. Some people just can't deal with the fact they change their games some now. But I thought the new star ocean was good and ff13 was really good. Think people just couldn't handle it. 13 is the hardest ff game. And actually had a memorable hard ass last boss. And if ya pay attention ff13 brings in alot of the old reinvents and ideas from the old ff games before 7.

I haven't not play this game, but the first (on SNES) is cool. Only the 1 and the 4 in the series have 4 characters playable in a battle. compare to the 2 and 3. For the music, it's really like Baten Kaitos Origins!)

Let's be honest here. Final Fantasy sucked at 7 and beyond, with the exception of Tactics. They stopped making good games a while back. Now it's mostly just shovelware crap.

Star Ocean on the other hand was great. 3 was still my least favorite, but I can accept and understand the story they packed behind it. But their smart mouths trying to say this is an alternate universe irritated me until they changed their mind.

@KoruKinshi I agree, but we do seem to be getting somewhere these days with JRPGs. Yes, they may be wobbly steps taken by drunk dogs on the top of an iced lake, but they're still steps. 'Hyperdimension Neptunia' is coming out soon (unless you don't live in Australia, and in that case, lucky you). There are still some kinks to be worked out in the genre, so let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best, a'ight?

This SO4 theme is good, However SO3 Bosses & normal theme better. BUT around the 1:09 - 1:40 mark this Theme picks up and launches past SO3. It's such a pitty since you don't usually get this part of the theme, because you'd finish every monster off :( FTL

This game was alright. Not good but not bad either. The dub was actually alright to, just couldn't get past Sarah's voice or the weird looking CGI art-style (That's just my opinion) The story was pretty average, though I hated the emo moments in this game. Loved the private actions, reminded me of those Japanese date sims, pretty funny.

awesome battle theme the nice thing about the series is since they change characters every time you dont have to play them in order to appreciate them tho I think the characters they used in SO 3 were very sequelable but maybe its because it was the first one I played that I feel that way. The first of anything you watch or play is always most original.

Extra characters for the ps3 version would be too much, I mean, there's already 9 playable characters in the Xbox version and that's a little too much.

We can just pray that they won't add any extra characters. If they do, they could use the same system as in Second Evolution and get a choice as to whether you want them to join or not, that would be nice.

He's just a real sucker for Progressive Rock, as far as I know/can tell he pretty much records most of the music he does, like whne he plays the keyboard.

For example he wrote the Star Ocean 3 Soundtrack and performed it live with a band (No idea if it's his own band, maybe) and an orchestra (He also used an Orchestra for the Baten Kaitos soundtrack)

Well, he's very flexible and awesome to say the least.
