@MrGlynification It depends on your business, and yes Adwords will tell you how many people search for a given keyword each week, and how much costs per click, and how many clicks to expect each week. A good SEM helps you optimize these. Depending on if you only do local business, you can also restrict your ads only to certain zip codes.

aaaaa..1080p..THANK YOU :P I love your videos enough even if it's about something i couldn't care less about just for the fact of how thoroughly you explain or even try to explain something. It's that THOROUGHNESS I appreciate the most of all man. It speaks about your overall character. That's the way I tried to treat my Concast customers when i worked for billing/sales support and internet support. Management couldn't stand it because I actuallY DID my job RIGHT the 1st call everycall

So it is not against YouTube rules to run game footage? I have the monetize option but have always been iffy to submit anything with video game footage, since that is one of the check boxes they ask if your video contains any.
@statman26 You have to comply with the rules of the Game, and respect their copyright. Mine Craft, not a problem, Rock Band with music, Huge issue. It is always better if you can get permission of the game company before you post. That's what I do on any of my stuff.
@BlackwaterOpsDotCom I've watched a lot of Call of Duty commentaries, and I cannot imagine that the publisher, or whoever, has time to respond to what would be im sure hundreds of requests. That being said, could I upload a CoD video without there permission and still be within YouTubes guidelines? Also, how do you actually go about asking permision? Just a general inquiry to the email address that the company will have on their website?
@statman26 Contact the PR contact for the game. Don't enable the music, or voices in the game. If you follow those rules it should not be a problem. I don't know about COD, but some games specify that you can use them in videos, (and provide tools to do so).
I'm not a lawyer, and can't give legal advice, and don't work at Google so don't make a decision based only on my feed back.
@BlackwaterOpsDotCom Thanks Brandon, I appreciate your feedback, its very helpful. Off the top of your head, can you name any of those games that encourage their use in videos?
@BlackwaterOpsDotCom Thanks for your help. I monetized my Team Fortress 2 replay videos, and while originally accepted, and ads placed on them, YouTube now has removed them and told me that more violations will result in my loss of the monetization option. Isnt that weak since they accepted it in the first place? Either way, I need to do some more research and figure out how the big channels are allowed to do this.
@statman26 I do video game videos and I have had the monetization and i finally went through with it like a week and a half ago. I already have over $10. I only monetized 1 video (has about 90,000 views) though and its a modding tutorial for grand theft auto 4 so im guessing that if i can get it on a mod tutorial then you can easily do it for yours just dont lie on any info when setting it up
@TWolfKaden Youtube seems to run about $.75 to $3 per 1000. Some of that is a function though of where the views happen. Views on Youtube make more money than embedded views. And US Views are worth about 100x as much as views from Korea. (I know starcraft videos often get Millions of views and make no money)
lolo i see him on Chris prillo

So if I have a business, and have recently created a website. Is it worth buying into any types of ads for my site. Will it generate any business?
Is there a way to see how popular a particular keyword or topic is?

I follow a lot of gaming channels that are partnered on youtube. Can you give us any accurate details on how much they make per X amount of views?
