@Jiltedin2007 Was Montana QB when Rudy was at Notre Dame.....i've heard conflicting stories...some say he was 3 years apart...and they were not on the same team but 1 year off?????

@quincee33 Montana was a freshman and did start a few games as QB when Rudy was a senior at Notre Dame in 1975.

@quincee33 Joe Montana was a Freshman when Rudy was a Senior for Notre Dame in 1975. Dan Devine, at one point, did not like Rudy and the Irish Players boycotted against cutting Rudy from the team. Rudy was the Heart and Soul of the Irish from 1972-75.
