In this society, the majority claim to believe in God. Stands to reason that those who believe in God are the problem & the primary cause of what's wrong in society. Aren't they confident in the power of their god? Aren't they confident in the ability of their god to preserve and defend Christianity?

There was a YouTube clip where Christians were bitching about and claimed it was "attacking them" and lots of them wanted it taken down and were complaining to the sign company to try to take it down. That's all it takes for Christians to feel threatened.
If anyone is curious on my stand, I am a cautious believer. A Christian Realist, if you will. I dont expect miracles, I dont make leaps of faith, and disagree with some biblical cocepts. I believe in evolution as well as creationism (not adam n eve style) but we do exist, therefore we were created. Religeon is good, what people DO in the name of religeon (often) is bad. Unfortunately, many take advantage. Better to die a believer and be wrong than to die a non-believer and be wrong.

The conflict between Athiests and Christians is inherently flawwed due to the fact that it has been reduced to whether God exists or not. And the reason for this is that Christians won't present their arguement properly because it weakens the claim of the existence of God. People NEED hope. The world is ALWAYS shitty somewhere. The existence of a just God provides that hope. Religeon is the human way of creating a sense of well being in that "it's a bitch now, but better times will come".

I just got done calling them, and telling them what a good job they were doing, and the gentleman I spoke to who answered the phone was extremely nice and appreciative. It takes a lot of courage to stand up to the crazy Right these days.

It's actually good that religious and non religious people can use bill boards to preach their messages to the people which shows free speech and allows them to make up their own minds rather then having to stay silent due to religion being free of criticism hence why its great for both theists and atheists that they are allowed to broadcast their messages
