  • Beautiful organ, nice medley. Very, very nice. Thank you

  • Randy--How right you are! I'm all over that bench, and with no formal training, guess I always will be! In fact, at my upcoming concert this Sunday, I'll be on the "alternate" bench that let's me wallow around and commit every organ posture sin ever devised. What were your other comments that were removed? Just curious...Good To Hear From You; we miss you guys in ATOS activities!

  • Looks like we need to cite John an OSHA violation for sitting that far left of correct bench position without fall protection.

  • BEAUTIFUL, John!

  • Didn't Lee Erwin play here after he graduated from Cininnati around 1929?

  • Yes he did; he also played at the Loew's Temple Theatre (Moller) in Birmingham. He was one of Alabama's native sons and I was proud to have known him. He played privately in several of my homes over the years. I miss his wonderful coutenance, and his never-to-be-duplicated artistry. Whene he was featured on TV's "Sunday Morning"--much of the footage was shot with Lee at the console of the Alabama Wurlitzer. By the way, I have a new CD made on that organ on E-Bay.

  • It is difficult to get away from your music, John. I have heard a lot of organists and you are among the top...registrations are perfect.

  • mrpeewee393 said it perfectly. What else can I say...he said it all. To master the pipe organ is a dream of mine.

  • Say it agin mrpeewee393.....They do not know what music is...they love to listen to noise and their parents don't care enough to introduce them to real music and talent.

  • How wonderful and peaceful....great organ and artist....

  • There is nothing more romantic as a beautiful song played so masterfully as this one young people of today cannot grasp the full pleasure of the bygone era of the theater and the mighty organ that still commands any performance!
