  • its just mje, or is her face similar with Sarah Chalke?

  • I only know one album, Little Earthquakes. x3

  • She shool my hand and thanked me for listening at a pub gig before Little Earthquakes went live. *still in love!

  • LoL I like pickled onions!!

  • lucky guy

  • @Jordan84 I thought Tori was from Baltimore, Maryland?

  • Aaaaargh! Tori! Love!

  • Great interview thx for posting watching everything can get my hands on to gear up for the Atlanta 2011 tour!!

  • WAS ABLE TO CHAT ON MY SPACE WHEN TORI AMOS WAS ON...I TOLD HER LIVE..I AM A VIRGIN..I LIKE HER...OOHH BY THE WAY ..ENYA HAS BEEN E-MAILING ME THIS PAST WEEK BECAUSE I AM GETTING CLOSER TO BECOMING FAMOUS .. LIKE TO BE THE REAL 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN IN 2012

  • @england9003

    thats sad...

  • I AM A VIRGIN

  • @SELFproclaimedVIRGIN Because we all find that VERY interesting...

  • It’s too bad that Tori Amos fell for such an obvious pretender. She's been sold a bill of goods. Mark Hawley is the type of guy who has learned all the psychological tricks for attracting women. He uses every trick in the book on Tori. As a result, he’s got her thinking that he has the upper hand in the relationship. If Tori Amos was really the strong person that she projects herself to be, she wouldn’t be interested in a guy like Mark Hawley. She should’ve married Robert Plant.

  • @dmh497 Oh my God get a life instead of analyzing and criticizing people you know nothing about.

  • i think she should take up voice acting as a side career.

  • Abbey Road. Yeah, Tori!

  • Great interview. She should become British too.

  • so when she is singing winter maybe she is thinking in her husbund...have she childrens?

  • is she english?

  • @lavanguardiadelsol she's american.

  • Wow she is a goddess.

  • Her husband didn't want to live in America because of the violence? He must have watched too many movies.

  • Tori Amos IS FROM NORTH CAROLINA. She was born in the Newton/Maiden area, about an hour from Charlotte. She actually grew up in the DC area however. Not everyone in NC has a southern accent, not that that is a bad thing.

  • she is a goddess. she is pure beauty and talent....nothing compares to her

  • Tori's summation of the British is pretty accurate, speaking as a Brit meself.

  • damn, she really fell into the botox trap. :-(

  • @beatniece and yet her music isn't affected.

  • Love you Tori.....!!

  • i love her talking voice...so relaxing and serene.

  • @alottatroubs me too. I could listen to her talk for hours.

  • So nice to see a female in the music business reach her 40s and be comfortable in her own skin. Tori is a class act all the way.

  • why even mention it? you just made age an issue.

  • You just made age an issue. Would you say that about a man? NO.

  • You just made age an issue. Would you say that about a man? NO.

  • Wins on chart: "most heartbraking interviews in the world"... Uh uh, call me in case you leave your husband honey.

  • Wow its the most real and relaxed I have ever seen her in an interview. How great to see her like this. The interviewer was brilliant! :)

  • she is definately not from North Carolina.

  • @N2YJP - Oh, but she is! One of a VERY few truly amazing people from my strange southern state.

  • @InModiasWeTrust I know North carolina very well she has no southern accent, she does not know the deligate inns and outs of southern living. and she is very fond of the English.

  • I used to love her music when I was a kid, but never found her sexy until recently. It's strange. It's only now she's in her forties that I want to put her (ahem) "under the pink". I think she's got a lot hotter as she's got older.

  • Fox <3333

  • She has the most gorgeous smile!

  • Tori is the greatest female musician ever.

  • @killakotton I agree 100% !! :)

  • for me she doesn`t look pretty here, but plastic

she was beautiful for example in 92` when she played 'Winter'

  • nice to see her in peace

  • I live in the UK and totally agree with what she said about the good and the bad:)

  • woah she looks great

  • wat a foxy chic shes gorgeous

  • What a nice personality.

  • i'm disappointed by the interview's lack of importance

  • @salsebin LOL

  • @salsebin The importance of an interview is not just to promote music, which may the least of importance, but merely to say, "I'm still alive...................just in case you thought I died"

Interviews can be deceiving in that it does not show the motive which may not be about pink and ice cream, lipstick and gloss.

  • Wow... She looks diffrent...

  • who cares if she has or hasn't had some sort of plastic surgery, she's a great artist and she seems really sweet and well spoken

  • not a damn bit of emotion...

  • LOVE her!

  • this chappy does a great interview

  • We hate it when our friends become successful, and if they're Northern, that makes it even worse.

  • She looks much like Alyson Hannigan in this interview.

  • I love her to bits, I'm an every album girl, she's wonderful in this interview but her face doesn't move anymore!

  • Tori needs to head down the A30 and my mother will cook her a proper pasty...I bet she's never tasted a good one.

  • Yeah, I'd peobly want to drag her away and keep her to myself as well.

  • Oh Tori, I will always.. always, always love you to bits. But please, no more face surgery :(

  • @bluejeanbable I agree. She's had way too much botox and she has definitely had a brow lift, if not more.. She looks nothing like she used to.

  • lol seems she had many plastik surgeries ..... to bad....Her Face has no Exprasions :(

  • @itisthefear i agree..i hope she had no plastic surgeries

  • shes realy funny..i enjoyd this

  • Wow she looks really pretty here.

  • 'he drags me away by my hair'? OMG. Are they having a sub-dom relationship?

  • LOVE TORI

  • she is amazing. 46? she looks 26.

  • her husband deserves to be killed.

  • @PhUTube4Evah why?

  • @ombregrise because he defiles her cunt

  • She should conduct on-live-radio programs (plus she would do some performances, that would be great). A very lovely voice, in calm, on the talking and on the singing part of course

  • This is a really interesting interview, thanks

  • MY GOD SHE IS SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL, even more still since im into redheads

  • Simply put, she's great.

  • This is one of the rare interviews where I can actually understand everything Tori is talking about. Awesome.

  • She is absolutely gorgeous..

  • It's interesting to hear her having a relatively normal conversation, I'm astonished by her relaxed attitude to her husband's aversion to living in the States.

I think any man who would take Tori on would have to be quite formidable.

They must both be such strong characters. Tasha will probably be Prime Minister one day!

  • I wonder if she's that boring during sex?

  • She looks like Arlene from True Blood!

  • @exileinbriville Ha! Well they are both wearing very red wigs.

  • @exileinbriville She reminds me of Cate Blanchett, if anyone ever makes a film about Tori's life, she'd be the best to play her. I'm sure it would be amazing.

  • @sleepypoodle I always think that too - that Tori looks like Cate Blanchett!

  • @matthew1mc It's those incredible cheekbones! They're both incredibly beautiful, but in a fairly unconventional, unique way...there's an under-stated, enigmatic quality of serene dignity which they radiate that makes them both very attractive.

  • I just love this interview. She is just so wonderful and fun and down to earth! I always love hearing her talk about Brits and Americans. :)

  • something is different on her face...

  • Tori is like wine... Better with age

  • She's amazing. She says she won't "presume" on Britain, but she uses so many British terms so naturally. Tori Amos is beyond incredible.

  • hmmm... this is not directed to anyone in particular, but reptilian is an ADJECTIVE! She's a reptilian what? btw...I love Tori!

  • This beautiful woman is truely a goddess!!! Your an inspiration Tori and I love you!!!!!

  • shes fuckin beautiful!

  • I can't understand why people keep going around the internet calling random people Reptilians. Reptilians don't do radio anyway. Love Tori gonna see her in Dublin in July. Saw her in London three years ago. Great concert and at oxegen also. She really was sexy before but know shes just... a bit of a goddess!

  • @BugAMartini im gonna see her in dublin in july too.!! woohoo!!

  • She's a reptilian

  • @Helixomni Why did you say that ?

  • I love this interview. She seems really relaxed and candid here.

  • She's the best!

  • Hey, why doesn't everyone get off her case! If she hadn't had any work done everyone would be saying what a hanging old moose she was, with her wrinkled noggin.

If I had her money I'd have my face so tight I'd be able to whisper in my own ear !

  • Her natural beauty is so much more impressive and effective.

  • Whether it's more important to someone if she's had plastic surgery / how great her music is, is truly not the issue. People like her, eccentric & different, are observed & admired for who they are genuinely & that notion embodies their inner selves (music) & their outer selves (image.) Frankly, here she looks like she stuffed her cheeks with cotton & used bad makeup. Her gaze looks absolutely vacant in whichever direction she points it. What is she trying to accomplish by looking plastic?

  • she's beautiful as always, anyway she looks so differente..her face, she seems to be another person.....anyway she is great a genious woman!

  • 4:02 She's such a cutie!

  • Ohhhh I REALLY enjoyed this interview. I love how she retains her "Americanhood" yet is respectful as a guest in England. This woman is a TRUE class act and so genuine.

  • gorgeous and i love sooo much her look!

  • i even love the way she TALKS :)

  • @MsMariaolivia They way she talks has always been a reason of why I'm a fan of hers, of course aside from the music and her shows and all that.

  • she has been talking this way since the begining babe

  • Who said otherwise?

  • wig!

  • honestly, she sounds high on prescription medication. i am a fan of her music, but i could run about four miles before she could get through a fifteen word sentence.

i know i must be worse than hitler for saying that, but oh well.

  • Tori looks stunning in this interview. I hope I look as good as her when I reach the late 40s.

  • sure she's had surgery. Around her eyes look totally lifted and her cheeks have gone

  • so? what's more important--whether she's had plastic surgery or not, or her music?

  • Wow, what a gorgeous interview! She looks so happy and relaxed here too, which wasn't really seen throughout The Beekeeper and early ADP era. I like hearing her talk so freely and it's nice to see her looking so well again.

  • Great interview :)

  • I love tori since time immemorial . . .

  • Something about the way she's being made up in her new videos makes her look so much older than 40's. Here she looks much better than what I've been seeing.

  • its not only english people

  • sexy lady still

  • She looks beautiful. I love her laugh. Has she had something done to her teeth? they look a little, I dunno, more aligned or something. She looks great though, I love this interview. Especially when she mentions just "being a guest", living in England. Nice to see her Southern accomodating roots are still intact.

  • Geoff Lloyd is a great with people. Great interviewer that actually properly opens interesting discussion with people.

  • What I really appreciate with Geoff's attitude towards "celebrities" is that he talks to them the way you just talk to people. Real people. I like that. And it seems like it makes invited celebrities relaxed and true.

  • maybe because he is a celebrity himself?

  • I can't help noticing her face is very different? I looked a bit like that when my wisdom tooth were throbbing...hah, I shouldn't post before bed, what is up?

  • lol:-)

  • yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. i see that. it's strange and i don't know why

  • such a riveting delight to see/listen to Tori in interviews! AAAAHHH!! I feel indulged!

  • She is soooo cute!!! Love this interview!!

  • I detect plastic.

  • man she's awesome!!!!i think that she can be heavier musically, than metal music.just her and her piano!!!peace tori, and everyone else!!!!

  • @racefaceec90 Ha! Well they are both wearing very red wigs.

  • She is so gorgeous! American Doll Posse was lots of fun, but I love it when she just looks like herself.

  • I think this is one of her best interviews of this era. :)

  • I think she was just trying to say British people feel they should be modest about their success and other people should as well, whereas Americans like to brag about it and admire it in others.

Americans have always tried to compete with their neighbors moreso than Europeans--bigger homes and cars than we really need and that's really hurt the whole world's economy.

The British food we stereotype as being so awful is the pub grub, but there are a lot of good restaurants.

  • I like this one a lot. I think this is one of the better interviews of this "era".

  • This notion of British antagonism towards those who are successful is absolute bullshit. Actually, Americans are so resentful of others' success that it is a joke that they think we are the jealous ones. How many rap artists are blown away because of the jealousy of their peers? How many Americans are screwed over because of their jealous neighbours? It is a deceitful stereotype of monumental proportions that English people resent success. Complete bullshit.

  • I would really hesitate to judge the character of the American people based upon the traits or actions of rap artists. *That's* complete bullshit. And I'm not sure what you mean when you ask "how many Americans are screwed over because of their jealous neighbours?" Certainly not myself or anyone else I'm familiar with. Or would you, Mr. Lives-an-ocean-away (I presume), consider me one of the lucky few?

  • Hell, maybe you've got a point-- not that I've ever given much thought towards how British people react to the success of their peers. But in any case, you've got quite a strange way of putting it down.

I mean, even as an American, I can see that-- if you're taking it literally-- it's a ridiculous thing to say. I would imagine that it would be hard for a British person to gain any success if you all resented it so thoroughly. Alas, a successful Brit is not some mythical creature.

  • The typical american responds by worshipping celebrities. British people don't seem to worship them as much.

  • Well they are steadily catching on, in fact I'd go so far as to say that Brits are well and truely in the boat with Americans when it comes to trashy celebrity obsession.

Shows like X Factor and The Hills have ruined this generation.

  • @Sambucca

all the british people i have spoken with seem to loathe american obsessions with celebrities. but i'm not there so i cannot say.

  • She is just so beautiful. It's like she doesn't age.

  • Comment removed

  • "wouldn't you just love to ignore her?"

no, actually, I'd hate to do such a thing. if you don't like her, then go away, darlin'. nobody forced you to watch this thing, much less comment on it. :)

  • she's so adorable in this! what a great smile. i love that she's doing more work without the piano, but she's making it sound like she's going to do a "solo" record soon... ; )

  • Thank you for posting this! Great interview!
