David Lee Roth recorded 2 new tracks with Van Halen in 1996, which is a lot
more recent than 27 years ago.
They were Me Wise Magic and Can't Get This Stuff No More, and were released on Vah Halen's Best of Volume I album.

@judyneric Thanks for the response & great info on a great band and player! The 27 years note was in reference to the "faked" video on YouTube, and how they had initially "touted" it. Hope that helps clear things up a bit!
