  • Which DAW are you using bro?

  • @TheTweeker79 Reaper

  • he a dam beast holy crap i love ur beats hell yh

  • you fire bro we need to collab check out my channel

  • 4 those of yall who want 2 download beats for personal use but cant find a link go 2 zamzar.com its a media file transfer site, just copy the youtube link in the box transfer to mp3, leave your email and within secconds a download link will be sent to you. this site can also transfer wmv files avi's all that shit but keep in mind while downloading beats that people tend to copywright there stuff and re-using copywrighted materiel even without monetary gain can still get you sued so keep it legal

  • hey i like your beat and how that made but i want to know if u can tell me how u get the actual beat in the video that u using once the beat is done. and good sounds i dont know what vst u using but i will like to know. i also an using cakewalk sonar. but again good production also what the name of the camera u using.

  • @shortybuck001 The beat at the end is the completed mixdown version of the song. I just added it to an audio track in my video editor. I didn't use any vsts in this video. All the sounds in this video were analog from the JV-1080 module and drum sounds from the mpc. I recorded this video using an old mini DV camcorder from Walmart.

  • @MakeItFunkyProds okay so i can use it in my software also for that to do that. i use cakewalk sonar and it has a video edit on there but i dont know how to put the actual mix in like that. but again men i like your style and i working on the same in my home studio that i do production out of. thanks again men for any help u can give me. also i dont know how to play the keyboard would like to learn one day i see u good at that.

  • I thought he meant DJ Dirty South. :(

  • @alexwohlbruck1 what's the best way to learn?

  • I really liked this. I couldn't get the tune out of my head for three days. LOL

  • check out my beats

  • Well then, in that case I do have to learn to play the piano. One dimensional garbage stinks horribly and I haven't listened to the radio in years because it does stink. Thanks a lot good sir and your sound was fresh and new. That's why I subscribed. Now back to the piano I go, practice makes perfect.

  • High there Mr.FunyBeat uhh. I'm a new subscriber to your videos and also a beginner in creating music. I'm in the process of building up a studio and I'm teaching myself to play the piano. The question I won't to ask is this. How important is it for me to learn to play the piano? I have more questions but they will come at a later time.

  • @357s2ThaSky I believe the more education you can get in music theory and learning to play the piano will greatly help your creativity and make your music sound more alive because you will have more musical knowledge to draw from. But no, you don't have to learn to play piano to become a producer in today's music. Anybody can create the garbage heard on the radio these days. It's so one dimensional. Nothing to it.

  • @357s2ThaSky it is fun playing the piano but DO NOT TAKE LESSONS!!!!!!!! They suck.

  • FRUITY LOOPS I CUD HAVE DONE THIS IN 15 MINUTES, YOU ALL CAN HATE ON FL STUDIO IF YALL WANT BUT THE POINT IS YOU CAN DO ALL THIS WITH FRUITYLOOPS AND MUCH MORE.

  • hey bro i could totally spit to these if you wanna start something holla at me. email me Dipgr1zzgr33n@aol.com

    nice tho

  • You can't mastern... ^^

  • Check My Dirty South Beat On My Channel Peace!

  • i don't think u know what kind of music you are making ;) what you are producing is called electronica or instrumental rock or dance music. it won't be considered rap until a really overrated person starts yelling over the beat.

  • RESPECT ! :D

  • really

  • that beat is dope!!!!

  • u should me all this man

  • wow hot beat man

    respect

  • Yea the whole process was tough.

    The beat wasn't bad either!

can you tell me the name of that bass sample you used?

    great production!!

  • @WackBeats

That was a bass sound in the JV-1080. I don't own that module anymore and I don't remember what patch it was. Sorry.

  • i had to remake this beat, im puttin it on my youtube page now, check it and tell me what u think of how i did on it , thanks and nice one bro

  • very vveryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice work my bro .

  • awesome bro, thanks alot. I just started producing a couple months ago, it was complicated at first, startin to get the hang of it now though.

  • is that piano roll program on the left computer somehow corresponding to what you play on the keys?

  • @StevenJacobbb

Yes. That piano roll is in the same program. I just moved it to it's own monitor. You can do that with Cakewalk Pro 3.0, which is what I was using in this video.

  • fucking sick man, you should totally give me a list of programs and hardware your using :)

  • @StevenJacobbb

LOL! I don't use any of that stuff anymore. I sold it all and bought an Open Labs NeKo LX5. I couldn't be happier.

  • nice beat. i want that beat you made how can i get it.

  • @the9game

i just hope you get far with your job, making beats.

keep it up youare pretty good

    Take care bro´

  • a little advice.don´t use the mics to integrate the sounds in your video.record them on Pc seperately and than synchronize them with your video on Pc.

So you have better sound quality, because the white noise sucks.

the rest is cool.Keep it up...

  • geil man respect good beat

  • this is indeed fucking filthy. props.

  • what is a good cheap substitute for an mpc? i remember seeing a yamaha or something i cant remember the name of it but it was brilliant and did everything the mpc did but only like 500 bucks or something stupid like that. anyone know?

  • I have no idea what you're talking about, but I am willing to sell my mpc for 500 bucks if you're interested.

  • the mpc 500 is only $500 its the smallest on akai makes its good too.

  • where can you buy this? or something simular to this?

  • You can purchase this at the link in the description.

  • Ou man! How can you get too fast hats on mpc???

  • All the sounds in this video (except for the drums) were from my Roland JV-1080.

  • nice job bro, i like the way u add ya synths parts & build this up, ya definitely got skills

  • Trying to see what you're using. I have my lil home studio... I went to school for production. And my instructor was against anything that wasn't protools lol. So you did this beat without EQing anything? You gonna boost up the heads of these lil wanna be producers into thinking that's all you have to do. lol, not downing your skills cuz you DO have them! But dang, so much people are not seeing.

  • lo you good but you kill me me wen you do that lil dance

  • Yo bro dis is awesome! Have you considered rippin' for pro-rappers? =D

Btw, that drum sampler yo use...is dat Akai MPC 5k?

  • Thanks! That sampler is the Aka MPC-1000.

  • hey man, i really love your videos. I am loving your studio, i hope your beats are puttin food on the table aswell bro. also like to see you give a shout out to NFX in some vids, he has also been a great teacher to me. i dont even use FL i use Reason, but he helps u understand music theory. Anyways, keep doin what ya doin bro

    From UK, much respect

  • Sho you right! I will definitely give NFX a shout out in the next video. His tutorials were a great help to me. Thanks for the comments.

  • dat was great, wut software do u use?

  • Thanks. I used Cakewalk Pro 3.0 to sequence that beat with. I use Reaper for audio.

  • excuse me ignorance but wut is da difference between audio and sequence?

  • Audio is actual sound that you record like with a microphone. Sequence is midi information that triggers external units like a Motif rack or Triton keyboard.

  • so in dat beat wut acctual audio did u record?

  • and is there a software that could do both? is this a gud option?

  • I didn't record any audio in that beat on this video. And yes, many software can do both, like Reaper, Sonar, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc. And yes, those are all good options.

  • thank u verry helpfull!!

  • BADAZZ

  • u shuld show this to all the souther rappers

  • the beat sounds like a sountrack to a tv show in the 80s haha

  • hey what interface are you using?

  • Audio interface is a Roland VS-1880 going digitally into an Edirol UA-1EX.

  • that beat is hot!!!!

  • all the tools to making beats

  • Perfect beat, man! I hope you will earn a lot of money! Piece

  • i think it was good till you put in the "sleigh bells"

  • Lol. your hi hats are tight but this beat sounds like golden axe or some other sort of cheesy sega game. But i still like it. god job pops.

  • What sequencer program are you using here? Nice beat...

  • Thanks. It's a very old program called Cakewalk Pro 3.0. It's no longer supported by Cakewalk anymore and that's a shame too because I love it more than any other sequencer out there. Let me know if u need a copy.

  • Hey Bro r u makin any more dirty south beats?

And how much does that thing were u make the beats on cost?

    holla back

  • I will be making some more dirty south beats real soon. But this time I will be using FL Studio.

The sequencer I used in this video is called Cakewalk Pro 3.0. They don't make it anymore because it's so old, but I can get you a copy if you want one. But remember that it does not contain any sounds in it.

  • r u going 2 sell the beats?

or r u just making them for entertainment?

and is it hard to work with??

and can u at least make a beat with cakewalk.....or does it not have any sounds at all in it?

  • They will be for sale. You can watch my Cakewalk Pro tutorial videos to see how to use the program. Like I said before, it does not have any sounds in it at all. You need external sound modules like a motif rack or you can rewire it to Reason or FL Studio using a driver called "midiyoke." You can not make a beat and hear anything in it without a sound source.

    Good day, bro.

  • Thanx 4 The Info Bro

I Will Keep That in mind

  • Really good beat. i'm luvin' that beat. really! keep it going that way.

how much did it cost to build up a studio like that? i once checked the prices of key controllers and MPCs and they were (or still are very) expensive. can you finance all that by selling the beats?

  • This studio costs around $8,000.000 total, give or take. And yeah, you can finance all this stuff if your beats are good and people want to buy them.

  • 8mille?

  • Nice beat dude... Isn't that reason you're usin?

  • Nope, not using Reason here. On this video, that is Reaper software.
