that's an awsome way to mask!! there are also awsome downloadable effects 4 wmm, you can also cut out on paint andd use the bluescreen^^ or get blend or tranclucentsy transitions wich overlay^^

love your icon xD eureka seven go! lol anyway, i have done this way but mine was kind of more faster, just make amv then you use whatever record software like camstudio, then record the amv u made then do the stragety u use (SORRY for bad spelling lol) and perhaps, what anime u use on this vid? it looks really good, and is it very good to u?

Cool tutorial, I actuall never knew you could merge clips that closely while fading out so thanks Jenni!

For others looking, you can make the 'flashing' clips by joining several of the same clip using the "Fade in from White" effect.

Ok, true. It is a giant fade though some people would mistake this as a masking effect. I don't know. It's not like I own Sony Vegas or anything. So I'm not an expert, I'll admit.
