  • The only one who uses some logic in the video is this guy from Manchester. Then we have the idiotic ignorant news presenter, the fucking PASOK representative NEA journalist and the other woman who i don't understand why the called her anyway, she has no clue why she is alive.

  • Al Tjazira einai to prwto arabiko kanali doryforikis tileorasis, malaka.

  • Killing folks, burning cars and wrecking shops is NOT the way by which we should gain justice and rights for all.

The anarchists which began these senseless acts are wholly idiotic and serve only to compound the dilemmas of the common people.

If we want to ensure a better future, we must do it through sane means.

Had your English been better, may be you would have noticed that earlier. The people speaking within this reportaz, milane me Bretaniki profera...einai bretaniko reportaz diladi tou Al Tzazira. And lastly, I have never said this newscast may be wholly accurate. Al Tzazira likes to spread muslim propaganda, this is well known.

  • Kai kati teleutaio....

Al Jazeera routinely broadcasts in both Arabic and English, and its target-market includes mostly the Arabic world and Europe...which is why they broadcast their news in British English. Psa3e to sto Google ean den me pisteueis, 8a to deis .

  • wow, it's the "NWO" and not the fact that they borrowed a shitload of money to pay old people more than they're worth. uh huh.

  • Greece is only just the beginning Americans are sick and tried of its corrupt government which is owned by international bankers The revolutions against the banks has began.

  • These anti riot cops should be killed, they must go down with the NWO scum! Power to the people! I hope other countries in Europe and USA will follow!

  • greece is the place where rights exist and still its being surpressed brutally i am greek and i pity the situation of greece i agree with anarchy and the phenomenom of social violence and class conflict because 30 years simple protests doesnt work anymore and its like the cops they are evolving and we are to. . . anarchy is the only solution and the ghetto they say is bullshit only if you are a fascist and a cop then our getting beaten. . . ANARCHY IN GREECE

  • When King Constantine went to Washington 2 months after the coup Lyndon Johnson offered U.S. help in helping him toss the Coup leaders.

  • Last years, Greek government changed the economic datas & statisticks and lied to financial markets. They bankrupted already but continued to receive EU funds and bank credits. Unbelievable.

  • ha-hey shhtavrosh. whay are you a notta got any moeny'a ? huh pappa ?

Greece is not alone in this subject.World is boiling with fury.

  • Poor Greek sucks - Blame it on the Turks and the Ottoman empire, blame it on the Greek Civil War, blame it on the English, blame it on the Americans, blame it on the Junta, blame it on the foreigners, blame it on the government - what a pathetic attempt at making excuses for their own condition. Like the heroin junkie who justifies their addiction to "external" factors.

    Greece is a sunken ship.

  • @FireFox9032 Just because you are ignorant enough to not understand what it means to be in a stable democracy for almost 30 years, doesnt mean you can use Greece's "excuses" for you to make a statement regarding our current state. Lest i remind you that when the US had thousands dying in Iraq during the last war, the Media never said a thing about it. When was the last war that YOUR country was involved in and took place on your country's soil?

  • @dumraden - I live in the best country in the world so all you can do is flap your gums and blow gas from the wrong orifice of your body.

    Get a brain before posting.

  • Second fastest growing economy in the European Union, but there is high unemployment?? Greeks think Socialists can improve this? I don't understand?

  • The truth about Greece today is that it is full of daily bank robberies, noise pollution, daily thefts, air pollution, political unrest, illegal immigrants stealing from the elderly, insecurity everywhere, unemployment galore, heavy heroin use, beggars on every urine pissed street, garbage piling up in open street corners, graffiti everywhere, non existent police, stray dogs on city streets, people living behind security barricaded doors. What a joke.

    Greece = the new GAZA.

  • u make it sound pretty bad lol

  • @FireFox9032 thats true but you own alot to greece for your exist

  • Socialism-communism-Christianity utter rubish

the worst examples Pasok-Nea Democtratia & KKE. Greece is so primitive, where as it could have been paradise on earth. Who betrayed Cyprus, Epirus, Macedonia & Asia Minor ? Who demolished all the neo-classical buildings ? Who colaborated with Tito, Stalin, Putin & PLO ?

  • FUCK YOU!!! you asshole come to greece if you dare.

Let me know when you find your brain.

  • shut up. dont speak!

  • Say that to your mirror and have another ouzo. Greece is the laughing stock of the world and there is NOTHING you can do about it but cry like a little girl.

And you have to live in that shit hole every day of your pathetic life.

You're a clown living in a circus and all the lights are out.

    Suck it up loser.

  • You think Greeec is a shit hole? Greece is the most beautifull country in whole world. Greece has the best ancient history you asshole, go read some books and learn about Achilleus, Hercules, 12gods and all those heroes. Now you suck it up and go to some ribrary!

  • rezilia pagosmios!!! :[

  • asta na pane!!!

  • first guy being beaten: if i was therre, those cops would have a crowbar in their backs

  • dont let the door hit you on your way out.

  • well the thing is that in the L.A. riots the people rioting just assaulted anyone white, at least thats what's being told. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • The goverment just wants to keep stealing people's money , the police to keep being lazy ,corrupt and incompetent ,the teenagers to " write history " when they're 15 ,all needs covered by their parents and no idea what real problems are,the media to keep terrifying people with overdramatism, the leftist parties and syndicate-leaders to use the death of the child to promote themselfs !

Thats Greece in 2009 ! There are no good guys(except the poor dead child ) and bad guys here. They are all bad!

  • file mou symfwnw mazi s kai o opws elege k o miliwkas prin 20 xronia na deis pou kapote tha mas poune k malakes e afto vlepw twra egw!

  • in 1985 we had mihalis kaldezas another 15 year-old shot IN THE HEAD by acop. What are we waiting another death by a cop in the years to come?No the time is now

  • you see we have lots and lots of problems in greece like political scandals coming one after the other for many years now even before this goverment.IF you get a job the money is not enough, pension is at about 450 euros per month and above all that you have the police that think they have absolute power killing immigrants making sure we don't learn a thing and beating up people that protest.we need a change i agree with jumpingRobot because we had enough.

  • international anylist network? wtf

Anybody who knows anything about the situation knows that it has nothing to do with Islam.

  • im greek ..in greece we have the most corruption nation of europe..and with the most brutal police.. the prices are growing evry day and the salary not..there are not opportunities .. mafia and old old political class..WE NEED A CHANGE even WITH VIOLENCE .

  • aleethia

  • we need change BUT NOT WITH VIOLENCE . Yes , we re the most corrupt country in europe but i dont think the police is the most brutal . Probably the most incompentent but surely not the most brutal .

  • @JumpingRobot you need work to.

  • @JumpingRobot Dear robot as i am Greek as well i have to correct sone thing to your words. No we are NOT the most corruprt country(and no Nation) of europe. We are in even worst position. We have more corruption even from desert sachara to africa!

And to all of you foreign people that you are reading these lines this moment i have to tell you some words:

We have corrupted politicians cause your goverments supports em.

We dont have money cause your goverments sold to our corrupted politicians ammo

  • and weapons, ships and tanks, airplanes and replaceable parts to 200% of normal prices.

Germany:We are paying your loans but you own to our country money from WW II,

    submarines as well.

United states of Global Ecomic Slavery: F-16,M-16

    Russia:Hovercrafts

England - NOT UK:1944 You cause the civil war.1940 with 5 armored vehicles to our borders force the axon to attack us.1974 Cuprus Spare Intelligence with Turkey

and jamm our systems for your own wealth.Article 5 of UN Code?Violated.

    And all those

  • Are who support as countries our politicians. Also all those companies that sabotage EU Economies like Greek,Spanish,Irish,Portugal,French,Italian economies are owned from same people.

Please keep in mind that if you dont agree i dont give a damn cuz that's the truth!

As for Greece try to keep in mind that name is Hellas and leave us alone. We dont need you,we dont want you, we want only time to recover without any "outsiders".

  • @JumpingRobot Greece - a perfect example for what happens to such a shithole, if government becomes too big, if they inflate the public sector and government spendings sky high, increase debts by no means. If it hadnt been for the stupid EU that had been pumping money into the ass of these lazy Greek beggars (EUR 5000 per fucking Greek). This shitty country wold have been bankcrupt already years ago. This is the result governemnt spending, corruption and lies, in one word: socialism.

  • @JumpingRobot yeah right... we have the most brutal police.... in france riots end in minutes when police come with rubber bullet shotgun and fuckin shred the protesters to pieces

  • @JumpingRobot Sell it to China and move to NEXT door Turkey, I think they are doing better than your country....

  • @amareto35 nah turkey is like a shithole people are dying everyday there they cannot stand being mongols and they suicide in a war turkey satnds no fucking chance

  • @ThePanathas1908 Facts are facts, economically they are doing just fine. They are the 19th richest country in the world, they are in G 20, you are NOT. The Chinese is buying your assets, the EU bail you out..

  • @amareto35 in G 20 are the 20 most powerful countries worldwide and in Hellas we saved your ashes when the persian army advanced through middle east we holded the turkish bastards (ottoman empire) and in ww2 hitler send in Hellas his most advanced army to hold the rebelion if we hadn't saved your ashes in the last now we would be a superpower cuz of the oil in aegean and the uranium and do not forget that if a country attacks us the turks will die cuz we are only political in NATO so turks

  • @ThePanathas1908 have the responsibility for teh safety of aegean and the russian army sends a powerful part in eastern macedonia to be ready to attack turkey in case they destroy the Constantinople-burgas oil passage

  • @ThePanathas1908 In other words, the Turks are doing fine economically and you just got bailed out from EU.(you have 50 billion EUROS wating for you to pay back+intrest)

Haveyou seen the movie, "big fat greek wedding". You sounded like, the brides mom, who said in the movie:there are greeks, and there are people who want to be Greek". I wonder, who want to be like you in 2011, a country that theri assets is selling to the "Chinese".?

May back in a days, which you are stuck in to it.....

  • @amareto35

their debt raised 16% this year. These kind of cyrcles happens many times in turkish economy.IN 5-10 years they will be bankreupted again

  • @JumpingRobot those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.

  • lmao islamic networks yeah right

  • hahahaha

  • The CIA put the colonels into power. The CIA and their mafia friends still pull the strings. Greece may need a new moderate political party which will clean things up. The military must not be given an excuse to return to power.

  • the legal counterfeiters who print our money are the new world order. we should all be out in the streets arresting these elite scum. the eu are the new world order.

  • @kingneddy the new world order were brought by templars it goes way back

  • and i want to add one more thing...i do not stand for the tearing down of our capital city...but as you stated 18-35 that the "true suppressed greeks are working for their shitty 700 euros" yes, they are...but they sit there and wait for change. complaining everyday of their shitty jobs. these kids find they are worth more than that 700euros and expect more out of life.

  • i can hear you i realy do but one thing i cant respect is that people talk shit about the workingclass. they are the proudest people of them all they work hard. i agree that the pays are shit but they are hard people. they are the ones that change countries if you can get them to stand up and fight you will win hands down

  • call them spoiled but when you get an education to better yourself and "become" someone than i surely hope they fight to get what they want. They have been educated to believe that they are better than the average joe in society because they earned that piece of paper. Well guess what...they are!!! that's how society works!!! if anybody knows this saying here it goes: h skoupa, h skoleio!!! anybody else have any words on this?

  • well read? sorry who are YOU and what do you do? apparently being "well-read" is the only way to realize the obvious???!!!?? lol oh god...i am greek, i am educated...and I AM EMPLOYED...and i still stand my ground. the world has changed...greece is still in an effin time warp. as they discussed...greece is one of the most corrupt countries in the european union...and you are sitting there 18-35 and telling me they're not?

  • greece has a post-secondary education level of 20.6% compared to the european 22.4%. 7% of that 20% is UNEMPLOYED....nearly half!!!! so these kids think why bother educating yourself when it's almost a 50% chance of being employed afterwards! as you said 18-35....ur greek and unemployed...along with the other how many ppl...let's just hope you fall into that "well-read" as you stated category so that we know that YOU know what you're talking about...

  • This is a full blown organic rejection of a long planned NEW WORLD ORDER plan .

The zietgeist of the people is that THEY KNOW!

That the global economy is being collapsed to create a single currency ( Euro & Amero) and a global POLICE STATE!

This is nothing short of the Nationalization & Socialization of every aspect of the lives of ALL HUMAN BEINGS!

National Socialism ...hmm? Where have I heard that before?

    Oh yeah!

    It's NAZISM!

    Good luck with that.

It didn't work the last time either.

  • if you want to call years of suppressed feelings a tantrum then ur wrong...u obviously know nothing of the struggles in greece...do not speak on behalf of something you know nothing of. there are other ways of dealing with issues...i agree...but that is impossible when then government NEVER gives it's people to "get involved" to make their point? oh please.

  • Secondly you remembered Greece today when the Socialists were in power for 20 yrs??? What did they do for Greece so long? Suddenly all leftist Greeks discovered that Greece has problems..

  • they are not destroying athens....the effin government has...creating all those effin ghettos and making such a drastic change financial status....1 in every 5 greeks is UNEMPLOYED...did u hear that???

  • the unemployment rate in Greece is 8%. That 8% has 25% young people...Do not mix up the numbers...

  • You sure picked a great time to take advantage of the events.. What a wonderful notion of communist sabotage..I don't buy it. so before acting smart at least be well read and for your information I am Greek and unemployed

  • the true suppresed greeks are not rioting because they are working all day at their crappy 700 euro jobs! these are spoiled kids that their parents give them everything and do not know what democracy is...democracy is voting and becoming politically involved...not saying 'i want change now' and if you cant get it you go into a baby tantrum and brake everything in the centre of athens...i am ashamed of my fellow greeks that are destroying the centre of athens...they dont know what democracy is..

  • we need help here in greece bros!do smthing!support!the war is against the whole word!greece is just a weel of the vehicle....

  • hopefully NEVERRRRRRRRRRR!

  • wunder when this will happen in canada and the USA?

  • no freedomfighter 333....this is NOT about police, as malehawk says, ppl are like a volcano during economic difficulties. Especially when u have lying politicians, nepotism, unemployment etc. I pray that this government breaks for the future of the people.

  • These EDUCATED students have been having troubles gaining employment for years, and now that the economy is a huge worry WORLDWIDE...imagine how much it will effect them??? Police are not the issue, it is a variety of EVERYTHING and when it comes into context, we can only turn to a government for help....but who can they turn to??? the gap between rich and poor has become too widespread that people want to see a change.

  • This murder was a trigger to something that was going to happen in the short-term anyways!!!! I am not encouraging injury upon police or such forth, but they are just an interference sent out by the military and government to see if these protestors will back down. i hope this protest continues because i want to see a change in greece

  • 55ella is right, when they shoot the next one, wait to see what will happen, people are an erupting volcano, and not only in Greece.Economy,Lying politicians, nepotism, manipulating the truth media, invasion of private education of particularly low level, destruction of public health care system, and an unprecedented sales of any public company in Greece, the 700 euro generation, are only few examples of what upsets people in my country..but only in my country? am not sure at all

  • No NWO !!! Thanks.

    *****

  • time to go HD

  • The protestors that have used this opportunity to launch indiscriminate acts of violence are the biggest fools of all. They've divided the legitimate protest & made many enemies among ordinary Greeks. Wednesday was very telling. The unions did not offer significant support. If they had filled the streets with protestors the government probably wouldn't have lasted a week. As it is, Greece is burning but the government shows no sign of resigning. There's not going to be any winners here.

  • These interviews are amazing.

The conclusion seems to be that since the global economy has softened, and unemployment might be rising - that this somehow justifies wild random violence.

Like the police control the unemployment rate, or that it police are killed and shops are burned and cities are shattered - that somehow this is going to help the situation.

    what a bunch of idiots/

  • Nestoba

Even killing the poor little boy???

You mean the one part of the mob of 30 attacking police??

Lesson: Don't gang up on others, and maybe they won't see the need to attack you.

  • even killing the poor little boy.

  • Greece is part of western Europe, but corruption, nepotism and poor government institution make her like Nigeria. Infact, Greece is another Nigeria in western Europe. Imagine the shooting of un armed protesters ,even killing the poor little boy.

    The same experience in Nigeria.

  • FUCK POLICE!!!!!

  • Regime change, change in the usual business of government!

  • This is just like Nigeria; high unemployment, poor infrastructure, huge gap between politicians and the people, corruption and nepotism institutionized! Greece elite need to change.

  • Almost like Nigeria, just 10'000 years apart in advance....

  • They are protesting Bush

  • A protest action outside of the greek embassy in Stockholm was held today, wednesday, at the same time the general strike begun. Shouts of "cops, pigs, murderers!" showed their support for the righteous protests and strikes against the police and neoliberal government policies.

greek exchange students: "We resist and confront all kinds of authoritarian suppression by showing solidarity and supporting demonstrations in Greece and elsewhere."

  • Corruption and nepotism are indeed a big problem in Greece, I know so from personal experience. It is hard for Greeks to DENOUNCE corruption because everyone is PARTICIPATING in it. I think all Greeks have moral issues with it but they can only be ready to get rid of the corrupt system once everyone has his/her own personal future (job, money, etc.) secured.

So I think the right thing to do for the Greek government is (1) reduce the gap between rich and poor and (2) reduce unemployment.

  • The time is now!
