This is pretty rough. Too many akwards pauses along with what sounds to me like an uncertain speaking voice leads to a listen that is tougher to get through than it should be. Maybe you should consider running through the material several times before recording so as to not sound quite so amateurish.
BTW, The Shadow is not quite the cultural icon you believe him to be. The character was hugely popular in the 30's and into the 40's, but he's been largely forgotten since. He's no Batman.
@GoongalaGoongala First, this video was made a couple of years back. Did you not read the date?
Second, actually, he is: many noted writers, artists and filmakers are Shadow fans (including Alan Moore, Dennis O'Neil, Gerard Jones, Mike Kaluta, Eduardo Barreto, Sam Raimi, David Koepp to name a few).
@GoongalaGoongala And forgotten, yeah, tell that to the many comic series, the '94 film, the various cameos and references in a number of popular shows (including Pinky and the Brain, Clerks, Family Guy among others) that he has been in, as well as the novels of Jose Philip Farmer, not to also mention the numerous reissues of the radio show and pulps over the years.
You did a great research on the Shadow. Thanks, I enjoy these videos very much!
The 60s Archie Comics were awful. One of things I liked about The Shadow it's his appearance. No stupid tights, just slouch hat, coat and red scarf. Stylish and badass. Unlike this abomination in green cloak.
