  • fantastic phrasing, congratulations

  • satan morten:P! syke sweeping det der! sitter å øve på noe lignende men faen ikke i nærheten til det der:P stå på

    simen.

  • Holy christ! I love your videos, your skill and your ideas are just overwhelming! You probably don't follow a strict practice routine nowadays, but I would really appreciate it (and I think many others would, too) if you made a video where you talk about what elements you think are the most important to become a good guitarist.

  • Rimelig heftig speling her... mildt sagt!

Morsomt å sjå den gitaren i aksjon.. Høres tøft ut!

  • Your control over the instrument is fantastic! This smells like some Guthrie Govan to me!

    Keep it coming!

  • @linkmaster50 Thanks! Yeah, I will :)

  • @linkmaster50 I agree on the control but I hear a little Frank Gambale too. :-)

  • Me gusta! Frank Gambale Influence =)

  • Very nice, no doubt a Gambale fan?

  • Excellent ;)

  • That's really great. What guitar and effects did you use for this video? Such great tone

  • @michaeljipi Thank you!! Check my website, I have a complete gear list there.

  • Man! That was some really nice sweep picking!!

  • Jazz/ speed metal with theory behind it.

    Love it Morten.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

  • You are a jazz player.

  • Very Nice............

  • nice ♪ ♫

  • Superbe démo !!!

  • great stuff!

  • gambale sounding!great my friend

  • Fantastic!

  • @MortenFaerestrand ;-))))))

  • I love how instead of just showing licks, you play them with a backing track to get you a feeling of how to improvise using them instead of learning a lick and don't know what to do with it. Also, have you tried using the stubby picks? They helped out a lot with my sweep picking or economy picking.

  • @shadowknight132 Thank you! I have tried everything! What works best for me are the big triangles that RedBear makes, really thick "gypsy" gauge with speet bevels. I like the fender triangles to.

  • Great playing! Jazzrock!

  • @plotchickens was that a joke?

  • @pockthehairy don't mind that guy, he's just a stupid little internet hater. He won't bother us again.

  • Also, the chords are Gm9, Ebmaj7, Cm9 and Abmaj7? I could use the same scale for the first three chords right? I also think I can use Lydian for major chords and dorian for minors. If you have suggestions they are welcome. Thanks!

  • @gandaragarcia yeah, that's the chords. Maybe regular G minor is more obvious than G dorian? Definately Ab lydian!

  • Excelent. Great tone and phrasing. What software do you use to create the backing tracks?

  • @gandaragarcia Thanks. Logic, and superior drums.

  • Nice chromatic run at 1:18. Love the Gambale ala Morten sweeps! Between the pedal tones and the Chromatic walking, it's a set of great ideas. These blogs inspire the BaJebus out of me!
