  • 6:40 Exactly right dumbass. Let me guess you called on Saturday (end of the month probably), and found that U-Haul was so booked up, they couldn't answer the phone?

  • @pxthirtythirty Your words fail, as you would already know if you read through the comments. I did reserve a truck. My comments referred to the fact I maybe should have reserved a month ahead instead of weeks. Though I'm pretty sure that would have still resulted in something like this. ;)

  • Now you know....

  • @carlduewall And knowing is half the battle!

The other half is killing those commie bastards. ;)

  • hahaha hey you make a reservation AT THE LOCATION U CLICKED and 85.00 is a deposit for when you rent the truck otherwise you went over your mile ahahaha jackass

  • @swimfan10108 I honestly don't know what you're trying to say. Please explain better with improved sentence structure. ;)

  • @UltraGokin not only do they act slow, it's intentional, they do it on purpose. also, they rip off their storage customers, of which i am a suffering one. a pox on them, a 1000 fleas and flies from the camels of the dirtiest desert in their armpits

  • yep they do suck. .i rented a 17 footer truck and only used it for 2 hours with 10 miles and the charge is freakin $85.00. .ftw

  • @Jecoholic03

I believe that's the base price for any kind of work with their vehicles. Even if it's just around the block...base price. :o

  • @JoeSomebody2 base price or not it's still a rip of. .i went to budget truck thing and it was way cheaper $8.99/day if it wasn't urgent i would have rented the budget truck plus they were out in the city so i have no choice!!

  • @JoeSomebody2 average price for one whole day = 24 hours is $19.95 for their small van. that would be a ford 150 or a small cube van, 10 ft long each one. and that would be about $0.60 per mile = 3-5 bucks. so, my dear brother, you got RIPPED OFF BY THESE CHEATING DOGS. as tulsa doom said in conan the barbarian, let them drown in lakes of blood, a better fate i can't think of. sincere sympathies to you. soon look for "u-haul-sucks" as a youtube subscriber name here, be posting some vids!!!

  • @Jecoholic03 rip off***

  • @Jecoholic03 That 85 dollars is a standard credit card authorization, a hold. ie, not an actual charge. It just makes sure you actually have money to pay.

  • @Mist3rfrosti

I stress that I did everything I could to know if I had a truck that day. And I'm quite aware of the plethora of customers that call in. Seriously! This kind of talk is getting redundant. ;)

  • Yeah Uhaul sucks, ALL the lines are busy so that's why you get that message. Obviously if they are that busy, it's for a reason ;)

Not much they can do when they have a dozen customers in front of them and phones ringing off the hook.

You can also check your reservation online... just a thought.

  • Stop trolling this man guys. U Haul DOES suck. :o

  • @rockybow3

Not much that can be done. Trolls will be trolls. Ignoring such talk is getting easy for me. ;)

  • haha troll. Is that the new cool word to use haha idiot

  • @mompood

Get back in the kitchen Mom. ;)

  • "Mommy!,Uhaul kept me from my food!" "WWWAAAAAAAA!"

  • @mompood

    Hello Troll! Goodbye Troll! :D

  • Did you not understand when they told you they would call you with the location of pick up? DUH! EVERY TIME lets be smart and whine like a turd

  • @drkcjones

Yes, let's be smart and mock others who point out REAL problems with the business they receive. Turd. ;)

  • I can't believe i sat here actually concerned just to watch a grown man go through a temper tantrum. This would have been more effective if you had not cut out the video soo much and actually showed the time you were on hold. By all means document but compose yourself.

  • @1AndOnlyGreenFairy

Hardly a temper tantrum, considering this is calm and collected legitimate anger. I've seen a grown man scream and cry over not getting what he wants. Me and him are nothing alike. ;)

And no, it wouldn't have been more effective. If footage was left in, you would just be complaining to me about how boring it is. Trust me. :D

  • @occ6t9

Considering I've already made in clear I've made a reservation well in advance, I'm just going to assume you're retarded or a troll, wasting my time and yours. You have just lost the game. :D

  • I rented a uhaul that was suppose to have a/c. It didnt the check engine light was on and they told me that is how all of the trucks were. front end was out of allignment. So I agree uhaul sucks and is the biggest rip offs!!

  • @repsol24179 Did you mean: front.

  • The place to go! ACE MOVERS CORP . COM

  • I have one word for you next time: Ryder.

  • @IamChrisLang

A company I'm willing to consider, though I doubt I'll be moving anywhere very soon. Feel at home with where I am. :)

  • @JoeSomebody2 - I am glad for ya, moving sucks, we just got settled ourselves. Now a 3 story U-Haul is going up right next to our new place so we are now screwed with massive construction noise for the next 9 months.

And of course U-Haul refuses to put up a noise barrier wall because they do not have to by law. Yep, you are right, U-Haul = U Suck!

If you want to see how we got screwed by U-Haul just search U-Haul Gilbert Arizona on YT....

  • @IamChrisLang

You have certainly peeked my interest, that is my sure. :o

  • It's Uhaul's fault that you didn't get to stuff your fat face with Chinese food?

  • @mompood

No no, I still did that. They were just incompetent and kept me waiting. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • I'm a reservation manager. We don't actually see your reservation until the day before so suck it up. We have hundreds of calls a day and I have to listen to people say how rediculous we are all the time. Not all locations have the trucks you're looking for and we service people who plan ahead of time instead of last minute reservations. A couple youtube videos won't bring down this multi-billion dollar corporation.

  • @puppetzthrasher

If you're getting 100's of calls as you say you are, you know things are effed, and are in dire need of restructuring and management. Nothing really wrong with that. Just a matter of making it come about.

I'm also sure a couple YT videos won't bring it down. It's the thousands watching those videos who will. ;)

  • @JoeSomebody2 Hi Joe, I just replied to the U-Haul res manager and, in addition, I wanted to let you know that there is no excuse for the lousy service you received. Unfortunately, some treat their jobs as just that....jobs and nothing more, and have no concept of customer service.

As an independent U-Haul dealer, I want every single person who comes in my door or calls me to be treated well.

I guess my main point is that not all U-Haul places are bad, so I just wanted to say that.

  • @wk4christ

I understand completely. If it can make amends, U-Haul was my truck of choice when I needed to move again in 2009. And in all regards, it went very well. ;)

  • @puppetzthrasher I work for an independent U-Haul dealer (NOT a center) and I think your last sentence was rude and detrimental to the business you and I support. It's arrogance like that that indeed brings a company down. If we want the public's respect and support, we need to EARN it and treat our customers like royalty. Customers are the reason our business exists. And word-of-mouth is a very powerful tool, as well. We must treat everyone with dignity. There is no excuse for less.

  • so tired of cry babies, your mommy still wipe milk off your lip, not everything in life goes as we plan or led to believe, on my rental they called the day prior and told me where to pick-up although not my first choice was about twenty miles away, SUCK IT UP NANCY, NO-ONE OWES YOU ANYTHING IN LIFE

  • I'm amazed how something so little can be made SO LARGE by you. Why so serious? ;)

  • Do you honestly think U-Haul is going to give a flying fuck about your one lost customer. Like it's gonna hurt them? lol get a fucking life. Whin like a little bitch and they you die, after that Uhaul will still be making billions. Go cry your mom a fucking river. As much as I hate Uhauls ass as well, just hate trailer trash

  • We shall revolt I tell ye. To arms all trailer trash! And afterwords we can rip this twat a new one. :D

  • you're not a very good troll

  • A troll isn't meant to be good, last I heard. ;)

  • no, but they're supposed to be convincing at the very least.

  • Uhaul only guarantees they'll have it somewhere within 50 miles, but...yeah. that sucks.

  • I worked for Uhaul and it sucked. I was expected to work the counter, hook up trailers, pump propane and pull up trucks while also answering the phone and taking reservations. I would have to put people on hold just like this and then go outside. The CEO is a scum bag and evreryone high up is related (nepotism). Fuck Uhaul.

  • My guess, it's a fast paced work environment that's brutal on the moving days. Not for everyone, I'm sure, but a necessary evil employ till things are sorted (if it even can). To you I say thanks, because you at least tried to make things work. *thumbs up*

  • Follow your instructions when you made res and you wont have to go thru that. what a dumbass

  • Yes. Let's assume I wasn't following instructions to begin with. Makes it so much easier to criticize me. Dumbass. ;)

  • The instructions that you receive is that U Haul will call you the day before. Your video didnt give what you were calling about or what your problem was. All in all, shows a bit of ADD on your behalf.

  • 1. Refer to the comment I JUST gave you

    2. Think really hard (I know it's difficult, but try)

    3. Rinse

    4. Repeat till you get it right :P

  • its busy u dumb fuck...

  • Then they should have more people on hand, and give better notice who have reserved trucks weeks before. ;)

  • that would be impossible and wouldnt mean anything simply because people come get uhaul trucks everyday..and also when u have a big big moving company like uhaul..that just the way it works sometimes...

  • People obviously can't get trucks everyday because the company was having such trouble with a RESERVED truck. And giving the excuse "that's the way it is" isn't good enough. :(

  • well u dumb fuck? what is it there to do? make a truck appear out of thin air..or my question is what would you do if you was the manager and i was calling to get my truck and somebody has the truck and not gonna be back until late tomorrow..BUT I NEED IT NOW?????????

  • Well...if I was the manager, I obviously can't help you, because you obviously didn't RESERVE a truck for that day. Sure, you may NEED it now, but you can't get it now, because all the trucks are out. Deal.

Now if you did reserve a truck, then it's my fault, and I should either shape up and do my job...or don't. ;)

  • then thats when ill say you need to take some business classes, because as i can tell you have no experience in the biz world...and another thing dummy when u go in a uhaul store they will tell you there no trucks available out there as you can see so thats when a customer says well when will they be back? thats when the manager tells them the expected date and time..and thats when the customer says will can i reserve that for me..beause i dnt want nobody else comming to get it....

  • Way to expand upon everything I just said!

    You beat a dead horse!

    You ROCK!!! :D

  • that guys dont care the people

  • Dang, that's unfortunate. I see this once in a while, since I live in a storage unit at Uhaul. Check out my vids to see more

  • Yeah, I know, and......wait, what? :S

  • LOL i am sorry you had to go thru that. But always it's super busy at the end of the month!!!

  • Truly. I bet it's the day of work they come to loathe. ;)

  • Uhaul phone waits are long, especially at the end of the month. But there isn't much you can do about it if you want until the day before your move to rent. It really isn't hurting them when you raise your blood pressure over it. But you do know that if you hang up and try again, you go back to the end of the cue and have to wait longer.

  • dude, whats with the attempt at a guilt-trip?? if you dont like waiting, then go rent something else from someone else.. This video suggests you have a hidden agenda.

  • And your comment suggests you see secret intentions where there are none...which is the case here. I just felt like sharing my experience with everyone here, nothing more, nothing less. ;)

  • Whew! Sounds like U-Haul has gone down hill over the years! We use to rent out equipment for U-Haul almost 20 yrs. ago. If anyone called us, We'd get on what ever they needed right away! If we didn't have it on hand in the yard. We'd call the regional offices ourselves & make sure that we had it by the date needed. On several occasions we'd run 50+ mi. to retrive trucks/trailers to help out the customer for their needs! Heh, Looks like that isn't the case anymore Eh?

    I feel your frustrations!

  • I'm glad to hear you were dedicated in your work. :)

  • Playing tedious video games for all the right unnecessary money and equipment has taught me well. ;)

  • i salute u, for u have a far greater patience than i... lol id have hung after 30 seconds XD

  • Yes! It's the one that's currently broken. ;)

  • your using a laptop right?

  • Fail!

  • lol i was just jokin.

  • lemme guess, he called on the last Saturday of the month. Didn't have a credit card or a confirmed reservation. Lack of planning on his part does not constitute an emergency for U-Haul.

  • Sceduled 2 weeks prior. Confirmed reservation.

    You = Owned = Shut it ;)

  • Agreed Joe. I booked my reservation a month in advance with a credit card. Got a call the day before my move telling me I had to drive an hour to pick up my trailer AND they made me pay for the extra gas!! I tried to file a complaint and was met with rude customer service reps, rude management, and an entirely unhelpful company altogether. I will NEVER use U-HELL again.

  • On a side note, I used U-Haul again when I moved to another apartment (has it really been over a year since this video?). Was met with better results, which I think happened because I moved in the middle of the month rather than the end. That would have otherwise been rough. :S

  • The U-Haul company is the pits.

The employees are slow, rude and discourteous.

This company has so many complaints @

the rip-off report that you will get the general idea. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS.

  • Uhaul has a low budget when it comes to having employees there. They have a low budget, meaning they want one guy to answer the phone, hook up trailers, fill propane, and go over and make sure the equipment is secure. Then they bitch when you can't do it all. Uhaul is a joke. Plus, Uhaul will always make a reservation, whether they have the vehicles/trailers or not. I know, stupid, but it's what they do.

  • not only this, but i was paid minimum wage after working there for a year to run the store alone. i'm glad i quit, but it was a good learning experience on handling pressure.

also, you're paying VERY little money for renting a truck to use for moving. if you want to get good service, be ready to pay igger bucks for Penske

  • its not u-hauls fault, there always busy, 1 person trying to do a bunch of rentals at the same time and the phone ringing off the hook. its not very fun for me or the people trying to rent them

  • I DEMAND BETTER AND FASTER SERVICE! Though I suppose I should be a little more understanding, right? :P

  • Its not the customer service rep's fault. he probably asked you to hold. finished doing a rental. had to go pump a bunch a propane. go unhook a trailer. go hook up a trailer. go do some more propane. do six more rentals all by themself. cause u know theyre the only one working the center. crazy busy all the time.

  • Working with phones in the service industry has taught me that, yes. ;)

  • so why go with uhaul, if it sucked so bad? We are cheaper tho.... penske and budget are sometimes expensive but we do rate matches...I really apreaciate uhaul, thats all, it feed my familly i guess!

  • I actually never used Uhaul's services till that day, so if it happened to be a bad day for the company, it gave a bad first impression. ;)

  • ok, ok, I work right there, where you called, i work in quality assurance, seems to me you called during peak time! usually in the summer its really crazy, really. Each call is taken by order. There are about 300 agents we monitor, they are alot for two floors, but uhaul is trying to better get better on that, they hire alot of people so that customers are less time on hold, even I was sent to work from home so they have more space to place agents to take reservations. Everytime the agent picks

  • NO EXCUSES! :P

  • LOoOoOoOoOoOol poor dude.

  • lool

  • Next time rent Penske.

  • You kidding? Next time I'll hire aliens to beam me and everything up. Much more efficient.

  • That's horrible that you had such bad luck with them.

  • At least it turned out alright in the end, and got the truck. Plus the people I picked it up from were really nice and helpful. ;)

  • That's good. I have been lucky so far. I hope I didn't just jinx myself.

  • I'll be praying to the Lords of Chaos that they be lenient with you. ;)

  • Ha! Thanks very much... Hopefully I won't need it....

    Chinese food is awesome!

  • Indeed with the Chinese. If all else, you can still eat their food if U-Haul fails you. :P

  • This video makes me laugh... Not sure if I am laughing at how angry you get or at the what they are saying over the recording.

  • lol I used to have that phone :)

  • It's a nice phone, isn't it? Though I suppose I need to upgrade eventually. ;)

  • I bet the Chinese was delivered a lot quicker then the truck! Maybe you should have gone with them instead. Being put on hold is never fun! Did one of the fortune cookies say go with Rider next time? So what happen in the end?

  • Chinese delivery is made easy when mother has leftover food. :D

I think my fortune cookie said I would succed at my goal or something. And in the end I got the truck and moved, so...YAY!

  • Good!
