you make a decent point but you only need to apply on one of the 7 days, provided you're successful. so if you have a spare moment in the next few seven days when it's available, it's really pretty straightforward. plus, going onto the sony website during that time bypasses the clues, although i liked working the one out today. but yes, it's been a bit crazy with all the build up.

I understand your pain, Eric, and I think you have a good point.

That said, JKR did say that there would be a task you have to do. Also, I think it's possible that they want beta testers who *do* have an excess amount of time to devote to Pottermore, so they can give the kind of feedback the Pottermore producers are looking for.
