  • i like this, hope i get this setup on my heli too, good work, i think we need to see if the heli is level in landing, maybe a magnetic float compass will do, for reference on the level!

  • fpv on heli is fun landing are rough to get

  • Sweet video dude.....

  • Great vid I don't know how I've missed this one. 5 stars

  • 5* again mate. Just a thought.. are you using carbon fibre blades? If yes? this may explain the interference, when it was on and close to the ground. I heard as they are conductive, they mess with the transmission, due to reflections. I'm going with FG blades initially to minimise this effect.

I'm not sure yet how my 5.8GHz downlink is going to perform on the heli, as I've only done static range tests so far.

    Steve

  • I am using wooden blades. I think the interference was due to the damp grass.

  • I also google earthed it & viewed it all as in your other FPV video just to confirm it was the same field LOL

  • I know that industrial estate. I could've had a job there but would have been worse off for paying petrol. We also have coke machines on that estate.

  • Congratulations. I'm just trying to imagine what people think seeing you sat with a coat over your head LOL is that the Twinnings that you fly over?? in the industrial estate.

  • LOL Yeah it must look pretty strange if they can only see me when the heli is 2000 feet in the air. Yes that is the twinnings area I fly. Do you know the area?

  • Great !!
