If you're just trying to get PlayOnLinux, you can download the package and install it via flash drive. Though, not sure if you would need to download WINE with it. I do know that POL will try to run updates after being installed, though.

Can any1 here help me out plz? I have 8.04 64 bit. My vid card driver doesn`t keep the vsync option saved after a reboot. I got the nvidia xserver installed and even though the options say enabled, the vsync is turned off until I untick and retick the option. Then it works till I reboot.

Haha games... I used to love computer games. I remember when I first got windows XP on my machine with 256 mb of ram. I loved that PC. Oddly enough I never cared for games after getting it. I was fascinated with the OS. Now I keep myself entertained by learning about the OS oddly enough. Seriously man, I can't play a video game like COD or anything like that for over 3 minutes without getting bored. I'm sure you find that odd?

well.. to be completely honest with you.. i hate games on the PC! i am fascinated with vista. I just love windows.. i dunno what is it about it.. but i love it. Yeah i love learning about the OS 2.. when i go on the PC i go onto youtube and google.. and research stuff.. Also i love old Operating systems like windows 98 and 2000.. i am installing 2000 today :D on a diff partition.. i want to see how it works and stuff. :D

my first machine was pretty crappy! it had 128mb of ram and we upgraded it 2 512mb and FUCK that was expensive lol. I think it was an Early Pentium 4 i am not sure... i was 5. We got the PC in 99.
