I think it might be might be unfair to dismiss the other musicians. One person doesn't make a great band, you know.

John Sampson's voice might not be for everyone, and that is fine.

I enjoy it, as do a number of people I know. He has certainly been able to make something of a career from playing and singing, so it hardly matters if some random guy on the internet doesn't like it. This random guy on the internet totally digs it.
