@fairyfellermaster Wrong. I happen to love Moon but John Bonham tops nearly every single poll of all time great rock drummers, and properly so because nobody's even close to Bonham.
@jsilence418 Actually the considered the greatest rock drummer in history is Keith moon. He was doing stuff on the kit in the early 60s baker & bonham didn't do until late 60s.
You're telling fairy tales, Ginger Baker was playing in London clubs in the late 1950's. He was already a well established drummer before Cream started in 1966. Regardless, the best drummer stuff is nonsense....all those 60's greats brought something unique to the art of drumming.
@drummer78 Right, My favorites are Bonham and Mitch Mitchell, but your so right, they all brought something wonderful to the world of drumming. " Best," to me, is the drummer or drummers who influence you as a player the most.Weather it's Mitchell, Baker, Bonham, or Rich. They are all great.
I have roughly 250 Zeppelin interviews...from 69-80 and including each members solo careers.
I've always thought the band should assemble these radio shows and interviews as extra material on an official release....assuming they would have the rights to the material. If not,the project should be done as a bootleg...an aural history of the band from the band themselves.
Currently,I'm searching for an interview Robert Plant did backstage in Seattle 1969 to add to the collection
@jsilence418 Im not from america mate, far from it thank god! tell your mum she owes me a tenner!!.............only joking I owe her a tenner! (you prob dont even know what a tenner is). good luck with your fucked economy!!
@dockaiser that's because keith richards is a senile, old fossil, who's a terrible guitar player, and thinks he 's a rock god by riding on the coat tails of jagger...don't get me wrong, i love the stones, but the individuals of the band is another story..richards and jagger come off as snide, snobby and egotistical..great song writers, but terrible human beings..and both are just god awful ugly as sin !
i've been playing guitar for three years now but now im sceptical, i think im good at guitar but i think i wanna drum like john bonham, everybody wants to play guitar but its not a great variation, people need more basis' and drummers than guitarists because they have the guitarist already, the guitar is definitely an overated instrument, i mean people think stairway to heavens solo is amazing it is but not on its own listen to john playing with page when the solo finishes
@BONHZEPPELIN This interview is from the newer book, "A Talk on the Wildside." In this book, Roy Carr shares interviews with 10 classic rock stars. Along with it are four CDs containing more interview material. The interviews are: John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Keith Moon, Phil Spector, Keith Richards, Cat Stevens, John Entwistle, John Bonham, Pete Townshend, and Paul McCartney. You can buy this book at amazon.com, or leave a request, and I'll upload the interview on YouTube. Thanks for watching!
@BillieAudo - Thank you! It was really fantastic hearing John Bonham talking so candidly! He really sounds like a helluva bloody nice chap! Yes, plz upload more Bonzo if there is additional material! I will prolly get the cds, but this audio should be on youtube for all John Henry Bonham fans to hear! Thx again you wonderful bloke! ^__^
@BONHZEPPELIN - It's great to hear from another avid Bonzo fan! I agree that there simply isn't enough audio of this great man around. Sadly, this is the only audio of him. There's a separate printed interview in the book, however, that's worth worth checking out. Thanks for your comments, and I hope that more Bonzo fans enjoy it as much as you and I do!
@BillieAudo - That is an understatement! I'm a Bonzo fanatic & PROUD of it! I hope there are lost tapes out there soon to be revealed! As it is I was totally amazed by your posts! I'm definitely getting the book too! Thx for sharing these gems! Very best regards to yah! ^_____^
@z1inspector - At this point I haven't found anymore rare audio or video of Bonzo around. Like I said, check out the book I got these videos from. There's a printed interview with him in there that's definitely worth the read. Thanks for watching!
@Piclemania - Sorry for the late reply. I didn't realize that they were sending my YouTube e-mails to my gmail account instead of my hotmail one and I'm a bit behind. You probably already found it, but I uploaded the John Entwistle interviews already. They're right on my page. Enjoy!

Why people have to be so blind. They should make lists of the most liked/loved drummers. Not best. It's ridiculous.
