Fun fact: This was modeled off the SNL theme.

The Da-da-da Da-da-da thing, was a complete accident. The person who wrote it was looking for a "four note" logo that would represent the network.

It would turn out, that the Da-da-da Da-da-da part of the sportcenter theme would do just that.

Who cares about the 90's Sportscenter I'm new generation. I mean sure I love vintage sports who doesn't but I think the theme leaves a whole lot to be desired musically. I'm glad sportscenter finally smartened up and got with the times.

@DudeLove1996 This isn't the actual legendary 94-00 theme, it's just an adaptation of it.

The old theme is brilliant musical composition. The new theme is two notes being strummed over and over again to appeal to the "hip kewl heavy metal, yo!" kids of today.

@jerms819 it seems ike almost everything from the good old 90s and even 80s were much better than things of 2day, including ESPN. even something as simple as a shows jingle. tv back then was so much better, we may've upgraded in technology but it seems like we've taken a step backward in creativity simplenss. idk man we gota bring some of the simple fun from the 90s back lol
