I love this guy - he's so genuine. So Springsteen - like. :) Both are just good ol' American boys. This is perfect for everyone but especially understood by the blue collar people of Jersey and Detroit. et.al. ( Detroit, which happens to be my home, too) :)
MAN I THINK I FOUND ANOTHER FAV SINGER!!!!!!!! I thought all Kid Rock did was rap don't care for rap. But then I stumbled on to I was born free by Kid Rock and I realized how ammazing he is!!!!
i agree with you tyman27, i was actually wondering when he would do a a Boss cover, and i am so glad he did this one. and yes he did an awesome job doing it too. he is the man, pure talent, not to many of that out there right now.

The only reason artists do a cover is because they have respect for the original artist, period. I also find it funny that people are dissing Kid Rock cause he covered this song IN CONCERT... not even on an album and never will be. He probably did this song to change up his set list and do something new. Bruce is an icon, no doubt about that. But sliding into the camera man and knocking him off the stage at the Super Bowl half time show was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!!
While cleaning, I just found my ticket. I was in Section F, Row 2. Row F was right as the end of the runway. But it was just a point and shoot. It was cool to hear the Jim Beam downloads from the Saturday night show and compare them to what I had recorded. Good times with a great entertainer!!

Been a Bruce fan forever and kid rocks this song like very few can. Bruce and kid duet would be great on this

I love Bruce, and I like Kid Rock. Both are fantastic live. I think this is a cool cover for Kid Rock to do.
