ok let me see if i have this right...Neil Young does a song about the Southland called "Southern Man" about racism & the injustices done towards blacks during the Civil rights movement. Skynyrd responds with a counter slam on Mr Young's rebuke of the racist south by defending Alabama saying how they love the governor and " a Southern man dont need him (Neil Young) around anyhow"- just seems like an odd choice of songs for a black artist to re-mix.
