Such a great movie. That this 1974 movie was the director's vision of 1984 illustrates the fear of anarchy, especially through the juxtoposition of this narrative and the movie's other narrative in which that girl lives in that art commune.
The sad thing is that parts of Europe are getting to the level of liberalism that this movie espouses to the point that it's much more relatable than it was 40 years ago. Wait til around 2030.
