Corndog you definitely are corny but in a cool way. Thanks for posting this video brother it brought me back to the good old days when candy stores and pizzerias had arcade games. Dam I miss those days and I'm sure everyone that viewed this video does as well.
They went up to Gauntlet 4 and THEN Legends on your consoles.. I only really know 1 and 2.. 3 and 4 are the same kind of arcade style but with slightly better graphics, more sound samples "Warrior needs food.. Badly..".
You always could do better solo than you could as a team. Elf with all the hidden potions was unstoppable. The arcade ownwer lowered the Health to 125 because he wasn't making any money on it, as a few players could play forever on one credit. Lol it made no difference. Getting to level 1000 and the machine would display 000, also getting 100200 health would be displayed like 00200. Likewise the score when you got to 10 million. Bunking off school and building up to play 12 hours on one 10p
I would like to add that Gauntlet does save high scores. Warrior and Elf combo is the best for 2 players. Myself and a friend have built both characters up, from level 1 and we both had 20000 health by level 100. The game is easy. I wish I could relive those arcade days where one person would start a game in the morning then I would take over while he went for dinner and so on, lol sometimes 4 or 5 people would be playing the same game throughout the day, not noobs of course.
I recall one strategy we used where we would get the warrior and the amizon up front and the wizard and elf in the back in kind of a wedge formation. The Elf was GREAT for leading baddies into ambushes.
well that eplanes alot! the only time i have ever played mutiplayer is with my kid cosins (who were too young to relay kick ass at the game) and my X-Girlfriend, when her and i played all 100 levels. . .
Oh man. This brings me back. My friends and I WERE those people you talked about who would create elaborate strategies to work together on that game. We could play for hours !
yeah, kind of. I played it once till it glitched however when i tried it again it did not glitch and i played throw all 100 levels. So i dont know if it has a kill screen persay, but i know it will glitch and scramble the screen after a wile of play
you can use a wired lavalier mic so you don't have to yell into the camera and create an echo that is distorted

"there for i have great respect for you. I am very bad at the game, i love it, but suck at it. ha ha"
You will suck if you only play with one person. You need the other three guys to watch your back.
