I'm one of the many that dislike Jar Jar. He was one of the worst characters created for the fiction, and it would be nice to see him killed off. Don't get me wrong, Jar Jar's death doesn't have to be pointless, serving only to placate folks like me, he could die in some heroic fashion, saving some innocents' life or something; Additionally he could die in front of Anakin Skywalker, thus adding another brick to the wall of tragedy and fear that surrounds that character. Jar Jar isn't in Ep.3...
This episode was great! It was nice to have some comical action from everyone's favorite klutz, Jar Jar! At first I hated him....but now I'm kind of a fan.
@Goatmon As a child I loved the character it still amuses me at age 20 but I dont look at him as silly more like pathetic in the movies. its wierd how views change with time. Lucas mainly put it in for the children anyway XD
@SirTimothyMarton THere's nothing wrong with like a character, but you should be aware of the difference between a good character, and a bad character that you like. Jar Jar is definitely the latter. :P
@Eddiespice509 how dare you. Jar Jar is the reason i started liking Star Wars in the first place. And after all this time, he's still my favorite. What i like best about him and his fellow Gungans is that they look a lot like dinosaurs.
