Combine Destiny Walkthrough Part: 1

put the combine destiny folder to your C:/Programefiles/steam/steamap­ps/sourcemods then go to sourcemods then click combine destiny folder then find a file with name gameinfo the find steamappd in the file its a number 220 you should change it and write 215 then inside the file find a name with file like that then find save then restart your steam and open again you will see combine destiny mod for half life 2 that was my instrucions

Does this mod overwrite the original half life 2? Will i be able to play the normal half life 2 where i play as gordon and also be able to play the mod?

@Chomper888 it dosn't replace half life 2, its just a mod, you put it in your source mods folder in steam and then restart steam, it should be under games then. you can still play half life 2, im having trouble with CD, its not working for me right, the combine don't follow me but they try to shoot me down. you would put it under programfiles/steam/steamapps/y­our username/sourcemods

oh. no. i looked more closer now. its just the normal crowbar from hl2. not the combine weapon.

no matter what mod i use, it always just end up as the regular HL2 game. Don't you just unzip it in sourcemods and restart steam?

i instaled the mod AND i have hl2 installed on steam.

but when i start playin i dont get that combine stick instead i just get 7 suit-points. and the squad is NOT following me. instead i can kill my squad.

is it maybe be because i played hl2 in noclip mode and killed the combines at the train station, cause i cant get their weapon there either.

pls if someone had the same problem, HELP!

@EmbrYo36 Just turn Sv_Cheats 1 on and type give weapon_crowbar . Thats what i did because i had the same problem. The no follow thing, idk how to fix. Sorry.

I wanted to do the right hand route-walkthrough at one point, but I never got around to it. It should be very straightforward for the most part, except for the mazey bit (which you just need to figure out, it shouldn't be too hard, it's only a button you need to press and then backtrack and take a different turn).

After you've installed/unzipped the mod to Sourcemods, you need to close the Steam (if it is open) and start it up again. Then in Steam go to My Games and there should read 'Combine Destiny', double click it and the mod will start.

you guys should play antlion troopers it better then this and its in the mornig and your squad never dies only a few but they dont die and better being on a out post killing attacking antlions befor they kill you

finaly a mod you use combines ^^ I think this is a good horror-action mod because you will encounter lots of zombies, and now I think it the combine destiny 2 (they'r working on it) will be principally combines vs rebels and no combines vs zombies but there will be some zombies too

Put the folder of your mod in the directory of HL2

Example: C:\My Games\Half-Life 2\Smod

Make a Direct Access of hl2.exe with this parameters in the 'Destiny Line' -steam -game 'name of your mod' -console

Example: "C:\My Games\Half-Life 2\hl2.exe" -steam -game smod -console

in combine destiny i found a secret puzzle instead of going into the sewer canal door you go to the other door where antlions await you in a small room in this route you must use every weapon to survive

This is a AWESOME mod, I recommend it to anyone! The level design is good without going overboard, and the use of combine soldiers as allies makes it so fun.

One of the best single-player mods out there!
