You grab your sword hilt, locking into place with your thumb as you bring the end of the hilt up and around to hit the enemy in the face and move him backwards. Then you draw your sword and maintain spacing with cut so he doesn't advance, followed by a horizontal slash at neck level to knock his hands down if he raises them, and then a vertical killing stroke.
