The 45/70 is a good round. In the Mississippi Primitive Weapon season, we can shoot breach action rifles between .35 and .50 caliber. A lot a guys I know shoot a 45/70, but I like the .35 Whelen. The .35 has a longer range and will still knock them off their feet. Over all, it's a nice video.
I've never fired a 45-70. See no reason to own a gun way to powerful to do the job when there are other rounds that do just fine for what runs wild in New York. It surely kicked her thats for sure.

@DrewZ2ube the kick isnt to bad but nothing compared to my 2 bore a 1.300 dia 3500 grain round ball with 500 grains of fg black powder i can shoot 30-40 round from the 700 easy with no affects but the 2 bore after 6 shots you start to get punch drunk... i have a 8 bore and a 10 bore both round ball rifles that i shoot alot of the 8 bore shooting a 835 grain round ball is my started north american rifle i use it on deer to moose...

The two most common commercial loads are a 405 grain jacketed soft point at 1300 fps and a 300 grain jacketed hollow point at 1800 fps. I have shot 3 deer with mine, and they dropped like they had been pole-axed. A well placed shot from anything is more effective. than a poor shot even from a behemoth like the .700 Nitro Express.

But its just fine for dispatching any game on the planet easily. Thats all the power I need. Anything bigger is military artillery, which I am in no need of.

Just a little suggestion -- next time, after you load the firearm, turn the other way so that the business end of the firearm does not point in the direction of other people in the vicinity. Nice stance though.

You can't say for certain she covered the camera man with the muzzle. The muzzle was pointed down, and you don't know how close camera man was to her. Might have been a ways away and zoomed in. First off, its great seeing any lady enjoying the shooting sports, especially one as beautiful as yourself. Second, I want to compliment you on your shooting form. You definately knew what you were doing and made a very nice shot. You braced your body for the recoil perfectly, and I bet you could teach a lot of men to shoot better if you wanted to. @TheFoundersWereRight PATRIOT act was Republican and if you can read graphs you can see that's where the economy went down the toilet too, Republicans are all about spreading fear, but their party does their supporters more harm than the Democrats ever do. Go vote some more tax cuts for the super wealthy and say goodbye to more of your retirement and benefits to pay for it. It's your kids who won't get educated and you who won't have roads. Let's hope some of those trickle down from the haves.

Under bush yes, but only after Democrats took control of the House and senate. Also, that is the most important part because congress has more control over the economy, not the President! And let your haters be your motivators! And no I've never clubbed a kitten. I have shot plenty of tree's and it takes alot of lead to finish one off. But Sure Shot Exploding Targets in the proper amount and placement, A 1 shot kill to a tree is possible with just a well placed .22 round. Firewood?

You can't say for certain she covered the camera man with the muzzle. The muzzle was pointed down, and you don't know how close camera man was to her. Might have been a ways away and zoomed in. So don't criticize something you don't know for sure. Give her the benefit of the doubt on it unless theres absolute evidence otherwise. And as far as shooting the tree, if its her tree, she can shoot it with a tank if she wants. I shoot mine, at least the ones without timber value...I own em.
