seen them live 3 times, definitely been tweaked a little bit when the shows went into production for the dvd. got no doubt when it was actually live there was no auto tune involved or whatever. you only have to check another related vid of them live at a fest to tell the difference, neither better or worse. they're an amazing live act, simons voice is raw and amazing as fuck no matter what.

@cogwy I wouldn't imagine it's auto tuned itself when they performed it live, when they mastered the tracks the probably retouched them slightly to make them sound slightly more like CD quality...as bad as that is for us true fans :P I've seen Biffy Clyro twice now, and they most definite do NOT auto tune live.

@fishgopop123 i study music at college, and we focus on some of these things...

he uses a vocoder in some of his vocals.. but, he uses it for the reason it was invented.. not just to make his voice good. i've seen them 4 times now, and i agree, the do not autotune live, but he does use the vocoder.. he has it as a foot switch on the floor near his mic... he uses it in the chorus for mountains mainly.

but the thing that you said about re-mastering it is also true :)
