I'm kind of an elitist asshole because even though I'm a weaboo I hate associating with my own kind, they annoy me. And I've spent a great deal of my life putting up with spastic, genki weaboo girls so I can take 'em or leave 'em.

I know what you mean. I had a period of a few months in which I was in love with Japanese culture. Then I realized how bat shit insane Japan was and I lost all interest in the county and the culture. I met a lot of those weaboos during that period though.

I still enjoy the very occasional anime and/or manga, but my thirst is easily sated.

Yeah, I still love Japan but I don't blindly worship it like it's the greatest thing evar. I've been such a weaboo for so long I don't think it's all that bat-shit insane of a culture, either. I guess I've become desensitized.

To me, tentacle rape just seems so...90s. They only did that stuff because back then the censorship laws were so WONKY as not to allow male genitalia or pubic hair to be shown. So they found a loophole by drawing Lolis getting raped by alien wing-wong. There's plenty of "vanilla" hentai nowadays, which I prefer.

Just because the fetishes are weird doesn't make ALL Japanese guys freaks, but apparently everyone's so mind-fucked that's why the birth-rate is dropping so rapidly.

IDK, Japan just seems like an odd place. Id rather go to Thailand something; they seem to have a much more interesting history and culture. And the food sounds amazing.

SOUNDS amazing? What, you've never had Thai food?! I've lived only a few blocks away from a Thai restaurant for at least ten years so I guess I'm spoiled. I call myself a Weaboo but I really like ALL Asian cultures. Right now I'm actually going through a Korean phase.
