This video is clearly intended as a joke, but it also makes a lot of sense. With the clone army alone, the numbers just don't add up; how could 3 million troopers wage war effectively across 50 million worlds, unless each planet needed only 16 soldiers to subjugate it. The math doesn't work.
One of my most favorite parts of Star Wars is the piece of the story that develops around Palpatine. The sincerity of false flag operations playing out in Star Wars makes it a truly great piece of not-so-fictional storytelling. Like all classic movies, there is a wealth to be learned from studying Star Wars.
wait a conspriacy theory about a fictional war in a fictional galaxy seperate from the conspiracy theory the movies tell you happened wtf too much time on your hands
When Padme said "Do you ever think that we're on the wrong side." It's not because of the Jedi, it's the Senator, which whom becomes the Emperor, he's the reason she felt she was on the wrong side, and people felt they were serving the Evil because they were, they were being ruled by the Dark Side, and you can see in the movie that the Jedi are betrayed. They're all back stabbed by their own army. and the republic was all about freedom of speech, but now it's all about what the Emperor says.
@CrossOfSkye Well the Senators are all just corrupted pawns that will listen to anyone that will give them what they want. Palps (Palpatine) Made it seem that it was in there best intrest if they made him emporer.
i wish that i were a jedi with 2 lightsabers and i am in the jedi temple killing clones who have been orderded to kill the jedi by chancellor palpatine
@januarymurray See that's what I mean..you are a teenager! Not a child anymore. You should be thinking in you future. Wishing to be a doctor, a reporter, a lawyer. whatever...just not a...Jedi, lol.
You sound like a sith the jedi are gardians of the peace what would they gain from overthrowing the republic the only real need is if the sith had placed their people in power and were conspiring against the Jedi...
You need to rip the movie into a file on your computer (such as AVI format). After that I just used a simple video editing program like Windows Movie Maker.
He used partial audio feed from when Mace Windu and the other Jedi Masters came to arrest him, plus his disfigured face (created by his own force lightning being reflected back on him), to "prove" to the Senate that the Jedi had betrayed the Republic.
@DarthFanta What..Darth Bane's era? Pfff nop. Boring. There's almost no wars by then. No anthagonists..nothing. It's just an era of production for all factions except for the Sith Order with their new rule of two implemented.
You are wrong, pre-Ruusan era is where all the conflicts are fought, when the Sith Order was a large organization instead of just confining to two people. The Knights of the Old Republic series was based upon the pre-Ruusan era, when the Republic still had a military, instead of being pushovers.
@DarthFanta Doh, I understood "pos-Rusan" and around the end of the New Sith Wars. Well you must notice that George created the universe. And at that time he had to create everything, characters, factions, history, events, politics, etc. While those guys who came later like BioWare with KOTOR and other recent comic-books about the Old Sith Empires, well they only had to pick up George's material and create a more interesting story. @fsujockykins Nop. The Clone Wars was just the cataclysm that brought upon the Creation of the New Order. Sure it was the most important part of Darth Sidious plan..but if the war hadn't happened he would have invented some other war or attack on the Republic. Now the Galactic Civil War was so important because it was the entire galaxy fighting for independece against an Enemy of proportions so big, that even after being gone...It's legacy dured more 100 years ending with Darth Krayt's Empire.

Needless to say, George Lucas noe best. But nt all clones turned to the drk side. Cmnder Cody pupously missed obi-wan and created the rebels.Dats why some drk side officers look like rebels
@SkywalkerLegacy What? Why don't you shut up? Everything you said is wrong. Cody was a clone and unless he had been genetically modified like some to think differently(but he wasn't) he would have always followed orders from his High Command. Clones had no conscience. For instance you may notice that even though most Clones had Jedif friends they still followed the Order 66 and executed them without blinking. For the Clone Troopers there was no dark nor light sides. Only Enemies and Friendlys.
but even the officers that tried to kill hitler didnt do so out of a sense of justice, they simply realized that the war was turning against them and their ass would be on the line. they didnt give a damn about the innocent people that the german military machine was hurting. they just wanted to save their ass from a trial when it was all done.
the thing that still sticks to my mind was Qui Gon Jinn's "part" prior to the Prequel because Dooku mentions him to Kenobi on Geonosis and how Dooku wished Qui Gon was still alive to assist him. Qui Gon was a Master but was never a part of the Council. IDK if he knew of Palpatine's true identity and if he did, I wondered if his allegiance to the Light Side was still true and if not, how many other Jedi thought/felt the way Dooku or perhaps Qui Gon did about the Jedi's role in the Republic
I think Dooku wanted to overthrow Palpatine and continue the operations himself. He would've tempted Qui Gon if he were still alive. But he was trying to convert Obiwan, which is why he revealed Palpatine's true nature.
Labyrinth Of Evil said Dooku told of Palpatine so the Jedi, knowing of his lying and deceptive ways now, would be second-guessing everything on Sidious' orders. But yeah, Dooku probably would have made a move eventually.
I read Lab of Evil, and another novel, that pointed out, that By Dooku revealing this to Obiwan, it would work both ways. Both as Sidious's orders, and both to possibly overthrow Palpatine. The Jedi were soon sensing the dark side around Palpatine, but could not sense the force in him (as he was hiding it). I think Palpatine might have found out about Dooku's plans, or had an idea that Dooku would do what Palpatine had done to his own master. Sith way.
oddly in terms of this fictions reality, the jedi were traitors to the republic. They served justice and when it was clear evil had taken over the senate and republic, they acted against that and conspired to launch a coup, take control over the senate themselfs. that was treason but so were the officers that tried to kill Hitler.
They didn't necessarily want to take over the Republic. They wanted to kick Palpatine out, and let a new Chancellor lead it. Palpatine knew of this (probably from a political rule book), and twisted the words to gain Anakin's allegiance.
The corruption was coming from Palpatine. He was using the force to manipulate other Senators to prolong his terms. A powerful "mind trick" if you will. The Jedi wanted him out, so they could then allow a new chancellor to be elected and continue the Democracy. However, to Anakin it looked like the Jedi were trying to overthrow him and take over themselves.
But there's a difference from pulling someone out of office, and an overthrow. The Jedi APPEARED to be overthrowing the chancellor to Anakin's eyes, and from Palpatine's description. The Jedi actually attempted to escort him and let him be tried. Mace Windu says "The Senate will decide your fate." And Palpatine replies "I am the senate."
Palpatine would have never given up his power. This would be similar to Hugo Chavez trying to extend his terms.

well, 10,000 worlds are like 10,000 planets right? if it was 50 million Systems, and say there are 10 or so planets in each system, then it is exaggerated.. but 10,000 worlds/planets doesn't seem too farfetch
There are probably millions of planets in the Universe. But the galactic map the republic contains perhaps only 10,000 planets (Meaning their may be 1,000 systems they've mapped so far (giving an estimation of 10 planets a system).
@Dmasterman Yes according to the real stats. From Wookiepedia: "The exact number of planets in the Republic fluctuated, ranging from three million worlds to just over a thousand, but in 21 BBY it was a little less than 1.3 million planets"
Well, with the ability to cross the galaxy in a few weeks and having real-time-communication to nigh everywhere, the classic reasons that´d make such a huge empire impossible are out. Of yourse, the empire never controlled all of the Star Wars Galaxy, just a rather huge part of it. ;)
Sources going back to the ANH novelization stated that the Empire had "a thousand thousand" (million) worlds. Other EU sources added about 50 million colonies, territories, protectorates, etc. to that.
In AOTC, Count Dooku states that 10,000 worlds wanted to join the Separatist movement. This was in addition to the vast territories already owned by the Trade Federation and the other commerce guilds.
You dumbass. Star Wars didn't happen. It's fictional, these videos were created by a real person. They weren't created as a cover story for some grand conspiracy. You dumbasses. You all fail.
The Clone Wars Is True You Idiots Some Stories Aren't Told Just Like Padme Count Dooku Mace Windu General Grievous Viceroy Gunray Darth Maul etc.The battle of Qui-gonn Obi-wan And Darth Maul The Geonosis Battle etc. You IDIOTS OR SHOULD I CALL IT STUPID PEOPLE WHO AGREE ON THIS VIDEO!
U are all just say everyone idiots and fools... and u forget or don't know, the Star Wars story now begining... The clone wars is little different than the other stories in Star Wars, i want see it in a real life like the other 6. But its only a animation film... Wait and learning about the REAL Star Wars Stories, not that what made by few ... funs!
At 14 seconds, there is a cut to two jedi, the one on the left holding a blue lightsaber and the one on the right holding a green one. The Jedi on the left looks a lot like Ahsoka from the new Clone Wars movie.
Congrats on over 100,000 views. I thinks only 10,000 actually read your end comments.
Also, people need to shut up about bush on this video. Granted, the president is a dumbass when it comes to running a war. That is why he handed the strategy over to Gen. Petraeus. This video doesn't have Michael Moore's name on it, so ya'll should shut up about politics.
I accept this parody in the spirit it was given.
And to all those people that say FAKE FAKE, well, DUH DUH!!!
this is like the u.s. because this goverment isnt a true democrcy.and dude anakin was a dumb ass that became darth vader and the clone wars was started by palpatine but the armies of the clones was made from a jedi used for emergencies meaning that some jedis see the future so he knew that there will be a war so yea pretty much sums up what i knoe
george lucas shoulda shown the battle between the empire and the clones on kamino... they woulda been hella tight. and if you dont know what i mean, there were actually clones that were against the empire, its just that they were outnumbered and the empire went to kamino in time to destroy everything, its just that it was never shown in SW3... which really sux
Right after I saw the title, its kinda right and wrong at the same time, its right because the Emperor was just using the Seps` droids to eliminate most of the Jedi so Vader and the Clones would finish them off.
It's the drums that go off at the opening of ROTS, when we see the Venator-class Star Destroyer (right before Anakin and Obi-Wan fly in). I edited it to get the length I wanted.
actually the clone troopers are the troops of the grand army of the republic in the clone wars (the clones of jango fett) while the stormtroopers are the troops of the galactic empire and they're not only clones but trained and hired normal humanoids/humans. some clones indeed become stormtroopers, especially in the first years after the clone wars but during episode IV or later the main part of the empire-army is made of normal people
Ha ha ha! This is great! I love this "alternate" (fake) take on things.
I've learned to disregard EU sources, as they are contradictory and flat-out inaccurate. This ridiculous talk of "three million clone troopers" is one such example. The United States armed forces has nearly 1.5 million active service members with another 1.5 million reservists, and that's not enough to maintain total control of earth alone. I think a clone "unit" is a division rather than one trooper.
the whole war was a sith plan to begin with, starting with Naboo to put Palp in power, and the Clone Wars (at the end of Palp's term) to keep him there
I must admit that at first I didn't know what the real intention of this video was, since I was not aware of the argument when I first saw it. Now that I've actually researched this issue, I commend Jim for his initiative.
Jedi or Sith, they both keep a civil order by force of arms, the religous-moral differences they indulge in as to the source of their powers are frankly meaningless.
Pretty interesting idea. KOTOR makes it seem believable that many Jedi are in fact corrupted and even deceptive, so some of this video could happen...
this is bullshit how can u say they ware working with palpatine and was a betrayal? then why was the movie star wars created?and why dint yoda and obi wan killed luke if u say this :))
One of the SW EU writers, Karen Travis thinks that the Jedi and Sith were all in this big conspiracy with Palpatine, and helped drag on the Clone Wars for some reason or another.
This is frikkin awesome. The only pure jedi were Yoda, Mace Windu, and Quinlan Vos (he's pure because he defeated his temptations of the dark side). Many of you have not heard of Quinlan Vos, I only have because I'm a huge Star Wars nerd.
I loved, if only George Lucas had used his intelligence to create a more realistic and complex story line, this was a good example of what it could have been. It could have been easy to transfer the end of the Clone Wars to the original three films by having the Jedi and the Chancellor Palpatine fighting over the control of the soon to be formed Galactice Empire. Their mutual betrayal could have been a neat point of the story line for Anakin Skywalker. A Jedi led Republican Empire vs the Empire.
I agree. As much as I love ole George, the Clone Wars could have been so much more. I never trusted the Jedi anyway and to me, this is a believable story-line. Certainly a jaw-dropper, but that's a good thing. :D
This is also for RojOdio: Karen Traviss is not exactly trying to portray such a thing. It is clearly stated that Kal and the Nulls know that the war isn't being fought to protect the Rep. from the CIS, but instead that there is a hidden agenda. Especially since Palps is feeding a stalemate, that (in True Colors)there would be no future clones to be made after the 3 million count, and that the Jedi were pretty much out of the loop, since Palps is the one who controls how the war is fought.
The Jedi couldn't have been left out of the loop, since THEY were the ones commanding the army. If you think you have countless trillions of troops (the number you would need to a galactic war), you would use them. There's no way anyone could be stupid enough to never exhaust a paltry 3 million troops in a war like this. Unless you're a Jedi written by Traviss.
Furthermore the short story Odds said that the numbers were reported to the Jedi when they were found
It did not matter whether the Jedi had 3 million or 3 trillion clone troopers because in the end, only the Supreme Chancellor (a.k.a. Palps) could decide how to wage war. In Odds, Kal and the Nulls are clearly worried and stymied by Palps "strategy" and are attempting to figure out the true reason for the war.
However, it is a valid point that the Jedi were having their heads pretty much up in the clouds by not being completely concerned with the war strategy and the treatment of clones.
how did you find that it were 3 milion clones cuz did u like do 501 legions times 6000 or what cuz I think that's what u've done and nice work please reply me
This video is clearly intended as a joke, but it also makes a lot of sense. With the clone army alone, the numbers just don't add up; how could 3 million troopers wage war effectively across 50 million worlds, unless each planet needed only 16 soldiers to subjugate it. The math doesn't work.

Needless to say, George Lucas noe best. But nt all clones turned to the drk side. Cmnder Cody pupously missed obi-wan and created the rebels.Dats why some drk side officers look like rebels

hahahaha, cody didn't start the rebels lol

Yeah... it wasn't Cody who made the rebels. It was the Organa family... you can see this at the end of Force Unleashed
micahmatt 3 years ago
I know, but cody? As in commander cody? What was that story?
themacbookone 3 years ago
Cody WAS trying to hit Obiwan. That's why he had his forces look for his body to ensure he was dead.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
@SkywalkerLegacy What? Why don't you shut up? Everything you said is wrong. Cody was a clone and unless he had been genetically modified like some to think differently(but he wasn't) he would have always followed orders from his High Command. Clones had no conscience. For instance you may notice that even though most Clones had Jedif friends they still followed the Order 66 and executed them without blinking. For the Clone Troopers there was no dark nor light sides. Only Enemies and Friendlys.

Whether or not this video is intended to be serious, I almost crapped myself laughing. Very well done. I give it a 9 out of 10.

but even the officers that tried to kill hitler didnt do so out of a sense of justice, they simply realized that the war was turning against them and their ass would be on the line. they didnt give a damn about the innocent people that the german military machine was hurting. they just wanted to save their ass from a trial when it was all done.

the thing that still sticks to my mind was Qui Gon Jinn's "part" prior to the Prequel because Dooku mentions him to Kenobi on Geonosis and how Dooku wished Qui Gon was still alive to assist him.
ObamaTheSleeperCell 3 years ago
I think Dooku wanted to overthrow Palpatine and continue the operations himself. He would've tempted Qui Gon if he were still alive. But he was trying to convert Obiwan, which is why he revealed Palpatine's true nature.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
Labyrinth Of Evil said Dooku told of Palpatine so the Jedi, knowing of his lying and deceptive ways now, would be second-guessing everything on Sidious' orders. But yeah, Dooku probably would have made a move eventually.
darky5k1987 3 years ago
I read Lab of Evil, and another novel, that pointed out, that By Dooku revealing this to Obiwan, it would work both ways. Both as Sidious's orders, and both to possibly overthrow Palpatine. The Jedi were soon sensing the dark side around Palpatine, but could not sense the force in him (as he was hiding it). I think Palpatine might have found out about Dooku's plans, or had an idea that Dooku would do what Palpatine had done to his own master. Sith way.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
oddly in terms of this fictions reality, the jedi were traitors to the republic. They served justice and when it was clear evil had taken over the senate and republic, they acted against that and conspired to launch a coup, take control over the senate themselfs. that was treason but so were the officers that tried to kill Hitler.
jasmine5000 3 years ago
They didn't necessarily want to take over the Republic. They wanted to kick Palpatine out, and let a new Chancellor lead it. Palpatine knew of this (probably from a political rule book), and twisted the words to gain Anakin's allegiance.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
the jedi said that because of the corruption in the senate, they would take control of the senate temporarily.
jasmine5000 3 years ago
The corruption was coming from Palpatine. He was using the force to manipulate other Senators to prolong his terms. A powerful "mind trick" if you will. The Jedi wanted him out, so they could then allow a new chancellor to be elected and continue the Democracy. However, to Anakin it looked like the Jedi were trying to overthrow him and take over themselves.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
in a way they were trying to overthrow palpatine and the senate. They were right but it was still treason against the state.
One of the real life examples which i think the writers took was the attempt to overthrow Hitler.
jasmine5000 3 years ago
But there's a difference from pulling someone out of office, and an overthrow. The Jedi APPEARED to be overthrowing the chancellor to Anakin's eyes, and from Palpatine's description. The Jedi actually attempted to escort him and let him be tried. Mace Windu says "The Senate will decide your fate." And Palpatine replies "I am the senate."
Palpatine would have never given up his power. This would be similar to Hugo Chavez trying to extend his terms.

well, 10,000 worlds are like 10,000 planets right? if it was 50 million Systems, and say there are 10 or so planets in each system, then it is exaggerated.. but 10,000 worlds/planets doesn't seem too farfetch
j3RicK24 3 years ago
There are probably millions of planets in the Universe. But the galactic map the republic contains perhaps only 10,000 planets (Meaning their may be 1,000 systems they've mapped so far (giving an estimation of 10 planets a system).
Dmasterman 3 years ago
@Dmasterman Actually the Galactic republic had control over hundreds of thousands inhabited planets.

Of yourse, the empire never controlled all of the Star Wars Galaxy, just a rather huge part of it. ;)
Magni56 3 years ago
Some technology allowed them to cross on end of a galaxy to another in an hour.
If I'm right, there are mentions that ships have traveled to *other* galaxies. So technically they must have some very advanced technology.
Dmasterman 3 years ago
Sources going back to the ANH novelization stated that the Empire had "a thousand thousand" (million) worlds. Other EU sources added about 50 million colonies, territories, protectorates, etc. to that.
In AOTC, Count Dooku states that 10,000 worlds wanted to join the Separatist movement. This was in addition to the vast territories already owned by the Trade Federation and the other commerce guilds.

harrypotter25474 3 years ago
Nothing, Clone Troopers are the Storm Troopers
The only thing is that they are further on in the future
joespenny 3 years ago
actually the clone troopers are the troops of the grand army of the republic in the clone wars (the clones of jango fett) while the stormtroopers are the troops of the galactic empire and they're not only clones but trained and hired normal humanoids/humans. some clones indeed become stormtroopers, especially in the first years after the clone wars but during episode IV or later the main part of the empire-army is made of normal people

65CL 3 years ago
I agree. As much as I love ole George, the Clone Wars could have been so much more. I never trusted the Jedi anyway and to me, this is a believable story-line. Certainly a jaw-dropper, but that's a good thing. :D
Awesome video.
DetectiveJadeStorms 3 years ago
You're fucking retarded. Both of you. This is a parody of what Karen Traviss wants to do despite all evidence to the contrary.
WolfRitter 3 years ago 2
This is also for RojOdio: Karen Traviss is not exactly trying to portray such a thing. It is clearly stated that Kal and the Nulls know that the war isn't being fought to protect the Rep. from the CIS, but instead that there is a hidden agenda. Especially since Palps is feeding a stalemate, that (in True Colors)there would be no future clones to be made after the 3 million count, and that the Jedi were pretty much out of the loop, since Palps is the one who controls how the war is fought.
HK47meatbag 3 years ago
The Jedi couldn't have been left out of the loop, since THEY were the ones commanding the army. If you think you have countless trillions of troops (the number you would need to a galactic war), you would use them. There's no way anyone could be stupid enough to never exhaust a paltry 3 million troops in a war like this. Unless you're a Jedi written by Traviss.
Furthermore the short story Odds said that the numbers were reported to the Jedi when they were found
Stupid or evil, pick one.
JimRaynor55 3 years ago
It did not matter whether the Jedi had 3 million or 3 trillion clone troopers because in the end, only the Supreme Chancellor (a.k.a. Palps) could decide how to wage war. In Odds, Kal and the Nulls are clearly worried and stymied by Palps "strategy" and are attempting to figure out the true reason for the war.
However, it is a valid point that the Jedi were having their heads pretty much up in the clouds by not being completely concerned with the war strategy and the treatment of clones.
HK47meatbag 3 years ago
Yes, it does matter. Even fraud can only bend the numbers so far. This is like saying Bush faked the a war in Iraq with...10 soldiers.
JimRaynor55 3 years ago
ya this is sooo totaly a fraud and a lie and a fake, but good job on putting diffrent voices in differnt scenes.
