I tried this EXACT flute the other day at Florida all-state band stuff. Tamps, Florida convention center they had a stand and I absolutely fell in love with the alto, this one was a little too low for me, but I love the alto :D

The riser in the embouchure hole is higher in order to aid the playing of the bass flute. All our flutes are made to play as free playing as possible, so i'm sure you would not have a problem.

It looks like your embouchure/mouth sits higher up, and doesn't press in as much as on a C flute. Seems like it'd take some getting used to.

Nice clean video without lots of talking. And nice playing too. I'm amazed how easy it seems . When I try it the flute seems to have a life of its own by wanting to slide to the floor. I'm guessing a Trevor James flute would behave more amicably
