@shwantz3 Now that is funny and true .. I live North of Detroit MI and work in the city , they work harder at getting out of their work then just doing it . But that is also not true of them all , i know some good men that are black and work hard.
ok so normally i dont like bash anyone on here and im really not i just dont understand why you would take such a heavy dozer into a pond thats that much of a mess unless you can make one cut and get down to good hard material on the bottom
@shwantz3 it's amazing how many scumbags like you there are around, yet you are all pussies. report to Camp Lejeune and tell some of your "nigger jokes", funny man.
Positive or negative... I know we did this once with heavy equipment, a Deere Tractor and Combine, and the breaking chain flying everywhere was the hazard.
How big of chain did you use? We broke 2 or 3 railroad chains trying to pull the D6C with the John Deere 8300. We finnally got it pulled ou by welding the broken chain and it held just enough to get it pulled where we want. Then again the dozer was not running, so that is alot of dead-weight to pull.
That crawler would pull that John Deere all over that place. The tractor barely pulled it out and the crawler was helping along. I believe the Cat D7s were around 38,000 pounds if not heavier.
im a little surprised that the tractor had enough power to budge it, let alone pull it a bit sideways like it did, that dozer is probably 20 tons easy, big tractor is credit to team
Good thing ya have even bigger equipment to get ya unstuck. I got my cat 977H stuck once and it had to sit for a week. My buddy brought his cat 973 over and got me out
That is not a D7E........ As of 5.2009 the D7E is not in full production yet, I also saw exhaust from the Cat tractor so it seems the John Deere was getting some help. Both are good American Companies and deserve a lot of credit !!!
Uh Yeah it IS a D7E, wtf are you talking about 'as of 5.2009 the D7E is not in full prod' ???? Im guessing this model is around '84, but FYI the first D7E ever made was in 1961, at 60hp, So its no wonder it needed a wee bitta help (Even if it was from a deere) The D7E you're referring to is their new hippie dozer. lol
My buddy in Calif has 2 1948 or 49 dozeres. both work. One set for 25 years and after investing 1800.00. The old boy started right up. It has cables. The video is on my channel.
That's John Deere power, even the devil is afraid of John Deere power!

I think you are speaking of the 2nd generation D7E which has electric drive. This machine is the first Generation D7E and is about 35-45 years old.
realfacts 2 years ago 3
If it was a 1984 it would be a D7G. It looks like its a 1968 judging by its lift cylinders and exhaust?
