They patched this, it does not work anymore. I haven't played Left 4 Dead in awhile because I gamed the achievements (50/50 unlocked) but I used the "return to lobby" glitch to get a few. GT = TeH TaE.

it is patched (i think) but there is another way of getting it. play chapter 1-4 on easy, return to lobby then start from chapter 5. then do any achievement you want

i have all the same ones, except for untouchables. it took forever. do it on dead air finale, and from where the radio is, do a 180 degree turn and walk into that wide open area in between the planes and rubble. its way easier to defend yourselves there, and its right next to the rescure plane. it will take a couple tries but its your best chance! hope that helps

you can play through the game normally and then when you get in the saferoom on chapter 5 vote to return to lobby and start agian on chapter 5.This cleans the slate of anything you need (This still works!!!)

If it's in the middle of an alleyway then yeah it becomes hard, but if you just blast through No Mercy you won't encounter half of the enemies you would on easy. Just yuo'll get about 2 tanks on average each level from level 2 upwards. Just play for a while.

Yh it was known as the "disk tray glitch" but valve fixed it, and i dont think people shud complain, saying i have all the achievements on l4d cus i glitched them all defeats the purpose there called achievements 4 a reason, because they shud b hard to get, thers much more satisfaction in getting them the hard way.
