I think it's obscene to flag something that is shown to the public off and on video. The only way to cover your bases here is to comply with the FTC and write out a disclaimer in the description of your video telling people you're not affiliated with them and are not selling their products or promoting them in any way. That might help you.

That really sucks, honestly youtube used to be different, but now days everyone acts like a lil bitch over copyright. Half of the people profit off of youtubers using their music and such, then when they get to big they file claims of copyright infringement. yeah I mean I was upset at the censorship of my opinions here on youtube I think if it's anything that gets enough feedback and enough attention, and they decided to take it as bad feedback or negative feedback, and just shut it down. It's funny how alittle controversy goes a long way, and I'm sure it didn't hurt their sales any, if anything it made people want to buy it because of the similarities. Bah, who knows. Good video. We do live in some interesting times. YouTube overreacts to everything from a fear of doing one wrong thing. There is a form at YouTube, although I am not sure where, but you can fill it out and start a process if you think they flagged you in error. I think there are some videos about how to go about doing that. It probably is more trouble than it is worth, but maybe it would teach the cosmetics firm a lesson if the video returned. I remember the video. It was an uncanny similarity.
