@spscorse It would work very well in smooth water. However at high speeds above 60 kts you have the problem of supercavitation and the foils lose lift. The foils need to be a different design - then there is the issue of hitting stuff at higher speeds - but for lowering power to get speeds up to 50kts, foils are the way to go - also great fuel savings too.
i thought the no wake zone was for safety too. i'm sure your fellow mariners love you haulin ass in the no wake zone. i guess u own the lake so u can do as u please. forget safety. live and learn. out
You should take this technology and put it in a race boat and if you win a race everyone would want one.
