meyeresp that is a Bernina 440 that I'm sewing on. It works perfectly to spool the way Aurifil recommends. Try the other way too... I've done both ways, but the spools fit better this way

So even though my Bernina says to have the thread coming off the bottom, Aurifil wants it coming off the top? Just making sure I get this right before I buy Aurifil!
