i thought some more about this... and i have 2 questions:

1. How can i make this widget start searching by hitting the enter key because it (of course) works only by clicking the "search" button

2. Do you have any idea how can i customize it's appearance? like colors and maybe fonts (or is it better to use an image of the text instead?)...

1. You need to use javascript to capture a key combination. In otherwords, it is not as easy as you think.

2. Dashcode allows you to add images, colors, etc.

You can actually learn javascript. That is the programing language that dashcode uses. Just google it and there are some great tutorials out there.

I dont know where you can download the latest version. Download from apples web site xCode again and it should be the latest version,
