but it really seems to be worth it. i mean, you have been / are still playing, so the costs are bearable. How long have you been practising til now on this guitar? it really must be one of those goals thats hard to archive. haha when i was 13 i took lessons and i didnt learn anything but russian childish songs (it fails so much that i still can feel the pain)

Is it me or is the intonation of bends and stuff for many of your videos seem kinda off? I dunno, maybe it's the tone from the scalloped frets and the lack of sustain from it... But good job, man! Sounded great!

I spose its acceptable if your'e playing concerts each night, to maintain the freshness but for home use that is pretty extravagant. What is annoying is if you run out of spares and have only packs, so if you break a single string then you have to break into a brand new pack and that sets you out of synch and then you have to go and buy more spares and... Actually, I think I'm making a petty fuss over nothing!

Sometimes, if I break a top E string and have no spares, I'll put on a spare b string instead, so the top two strings are the same. I tell you, that ain't pretty for your fingers!! (Or your tension neck)

There are some people (like me) who just happen to have really corrosive skin oil. I have had new strings literally turn black and gritty in one session, and change color after only one song. Usually I just wipe them off instead of changing them which kinda works, but still, I think body chemistry makes a difference.

@IcarusMK22 totally agree, i have a corrosive skin oil, i think not so corrosive as yours but i have to get new strings every month or just wipe them off with a guitar string cleaner substance, and a friend of mine just change them every 6 months...

@MoZaK94 Ican vouch for that too, i can seriously kill the playability of the thinnest strings in one playing session. im not kidding, the strings become completely black, and loose all possibility of sliding over them, feel as if they are made of sandpaper kinda.... i would change them every 1-2 weeks if i had the money
