I have a version that sounds pretty much exactly like this one (wich I got years back now, around 4-3 years i think) just without the movie lines and sligtly different sub to the drums and whatnot. Either you found that version and just modified it, or those were your earlier work. Don't know.

The video, placement of sound effects and dialogue is my work. I have done a total of 5 Star Wars music vids based on the Duel of the Fates song. My original one was only Original trilogy footage using the original song. The full saga got three videos (really just modifications of the first Duel of the Fates remix video I did) and the Clone Wars video.

You should be able to grab it online by doing a search of Duel of the Fates techno remix or something like that. It's by a group called Planet Core so that might help. Also, as I've said before, you won't find a version exactly like mine, since I made some minor changes to the pauses in the song (to allow dialogue to fit) and spliced two versions of the song together to get the length of the overall song I wanted.

ya so I ordered the cd off of Amazon and does it have a picture of a green and purple lightsaber crossing eachother and does the cd have this remix but without the voices from the movie clips???? so its pretty much just this remix without the people talking and stuff like that????????

Yep, that's the same CD that I have. I left the voices in my video for dramatic effect, so there aren't any voices or sound effects on the track that you're buying.

That's where I got this song from, it was a CD single. It's by a group called Planet Core it has two versions of the song on it. A radio edit and a extended "fateful mix" version.

Just download the "Fateful Mix" if you can. Do a search for Duel of the Fates techno remix and it should come up.  The "Fateful Mix" is an extended mix. The version I used in my videos is a spliced version of the two songs that I created while editing the video.

Glad you liked that. I just superimposed the two scenes over each other. Kinda like doing an ongoing dissolve transition with the two scenes so they can both be seen at the same time.

Correction. I was thinking about a different part of the vid. The Vader on the ramp and Anakin leading the march scenes (as well as the part with Darth Maul readying his lightsaber and removing his hood) was an overlay of the two scenes over each other and then I deleted every other frame of the topmost (call it scene 1) so it would create a strobe light effect to go in time with the cymbal hits in the music.

Quite honestly, I fail to find a more entertaining and well made Star Wars music video on the net today, and I'm not exaggerating here.

Editing and timing was brilliant, as was the overall flow of the scenes with the music. I hadn't heard this version of Duel of the Fates before, so that added to the magic.

The voiceovers left in at critical moments bumped this up a notch as well. REALLY fit the mood! My only,tiny complaint, is the video quality could be better. But thats YouTube. :)
