My Dad got me into Blue October. He played tis song for me, and that one line struck deep: "I might have been gone, but I never walked out". He left our family when I was young, but he never left my life. This song about makes me cry every time. I love this band, and the entire album.

I think that in order to fully appreciate the value of this beautiful heartfelt song, you must be a true fan,for a true fan knows Justin's story. A true fan feels every ounce of his pain, soul, & depth of his heart that he pours into this song. We realize that this song, this album, was not for the fans. It was for his precious daughter Blue.

I don't need to use his quotes since I have met, hugged, kissed & had a sincere heart felt talk with the Beautiful Man & Sweetheart Justin Furstenfeld & all of us true fans already know his life story . I am 1 of his biggest fans & also have him & me head to head smiling & hugging on my laptop screensaver after one of his awesome concerts. I <3 him, respect him & pray for him .
