  • Shitmaro would also be caught in a ditch against an R34.

That's why Muscle always like to beat on R32's.

  • the difference between these two cars is the "ONE" turns! shitmaro will be caught in a ditch while godzilla awd grips that bitch.

  • nice but dont forget, racing in a straight line doesnt prove that the car is better in any way. Americans got that part down quite well but leave the tunning and track time usage to the europeans and japanese.

  • like better the camaro!

  • And speaking of cornering, go ahead and ask anyone who actually races - be it drag racing, oval track, road course, etc. what handles turns better with power: FWD or RWD. A 1000HP CRX would be a death trap on anything but a straight line (which is pretty ironic)

  • @Psychlonic Some very good points you have there, not many people seem to understand that a car can be too light! As far as cornering let me just ask one question. What car won the 2010 Formula D Championship? As far as the price of tuning hondas are cheaper to get into the 10-11 secc range. start getting any faster than that and the V8's are the obvious choice.

  • Of course, it's perfectly possible to make a Honda crush Novas in the 7 second realm, but it's going to cost a shit ton of time and effort. You say it's cheaper to tune an i4, when really it's the other way around from what I've seen. I've seen people throw new cranks, pistons, headers, turbo... all kinds of expensive shit on their Hondas and still come out under 350HP. WHY??? And for all the owners that say they can corner better, I have yet to actually see it proven.

  • @Psychlonic

...I have never in my life seen a street legal Honda car run less than 10 seconds.

  • I'm not a big Mustang fan, but I think you're forgetting that there are more factors to consider than just horsepower. For one, V8s produce more torque per HP almost invariably. Second, rear-wheel drive cars are proven to launch better (source: any competitive NHRA racer). Third, Mustangs can be dropped down to the same optimal weight as a CRX. There IS such a thing as too light, and Mustangs can reach the sweet spot. Two cars, same weight, one with better torque and RWD. The Mustang wins.

  • @Psychlonic awd maybe slower then rwd launching stock... modified awd will always launch better... its because stock awd get to much traction for the stock clutch and it gets overwhelmed and bogs... if you can get your awd to spin a little bit to overcome the traction issue then you have a rocket fast car...

  • You might as well give up the video speaks for itself. rwd v8 wins, awd turbo I6 lost

  • Realistically, 1000HP is the limit even for the most hardcore street driver. So you can either strain the everloving hell out of a 6 cylinder to reach that and go broke, or you can just build up a good V8 that will be reliable and not require every single trick. Normally aspirated big blocks can reach that, as can supercharged small blocks for under 10k. "But teh weight!" It's called weight distribution, which is far more important than overall weight when it comes to handling.

  • i dont know if u guys realized but Jap cars absolutely have to have tons of boost to even compete with N/A muscle, evo, gtr, skyline, wrx, to name a few, in which none can remotly carry a light for a stock Z-06,

  • @skillz1855

I think the real story is that you can get plenty of HP out of a 6 cylinder or even a 4, but the more you drop cylinders, the more money, time, and effort you will need to put into it. It's not marginal, we're talking thousands upon thousands of extra dollars to match 1000HP V8s which can be done for far cheaper. The best Jap 6 cylinders I've seen will reach around 1500HP, which can be done far easier with a V8, which can still go higher. Then there's torque, which everyone forgets

  • @Psychlonic it may be easier to get a v8 to 1000hp, but most i4s weigh half as much as a v8. so a 1000 hp crx or 240 would eat a 1000 hp mustang. point is, its much cheaper to tune a i4.

  • LT4 win!!!!!!!!!

  • To elaborate, a STOCK 1969 (think about how old that is) Charger R/T will dyno at over 500 horsepower. Now, do you think someone who took the time and money to polish up that body just left the motor stock, or do you think they bolted on and ported/polished the latest goodies to make it even faster? Just saying...

  • For people saying muscle, guys... An F-body Camaro is not a muscle car... It is a mid-level sportscar/pony car by Chevrolet. The last Chevy muscle car was the Chevelle SS. This goes for import fans, too. Just because something has a V8 in it does not mean it's "muscle", it means it had a V8 in it unless it's a 60-70s 2-door mid-size, in which case you should REALLY not even try to race it because it will smash you.

  • @Psychlonic ur an idiot the camaro is a muscle car

  • @gforce91

You don't even know what muscle car means, then. Look it up before trying to sound smart. The Chevelle was GM's muscle car. Camaro is a pony car. I know you have know idea what "pony car" means but you should look that up, too. Email GM themselves if you're still confused afterwards, or any muscle car association and ask about joining with a Camaro.

  • @79135ef9 someones hurt cuz their dream car just got beat.

  • You CANNOT beat American Muscle..Sorry..

  • @DocWoods22 o really now?? i beg to differ

  • @DocWoods22 yeah true true but not all muscle cars are better

  • @DocWoods22 What a joke.

  • v8 vs. in-line 6 turbo...the v8's going to take it...even with a lousy driver.

  • skyline stok never killed to camaro stok modified but camaro modified and skyline modified mayve

  • @beto9500 <------ WTF did they just say ?

  • @beto9500 que?

  • @beto9500 trippin!!

  • im gettin into the european cars now. i want something that people dismiss as an ordinary car then it blows the doors off their car. like an audi rs4 wagon. im never buying new again. i will import. way cooler cars for way less money.

  • shit talk out of the ricers mouth=lame... the look on the same ricers girfriends face when her man gets his ass handed to him by a camaro= priceless

  • my trans am wud smoke both of them

  • @theebestever maybe so, lets see a video man....

  • @theebestever no one cares

  • @EnjoiNISMOs13 fuck you you probably have a little dick haha nismo sucks ass you puss

  • it looks like the skyline driver had some issues, most people suck at driving right hand drive cars,i know i had a jdm silvia before and it's not the same,my first 240sx had a rb25det not twin turbo power but a single,i was never smoked by any car on the street, pushing more than 380 hp 400fp torq out of a little 240 i never lost ,by the way i now drive a convertable 240sx with an ls1 with 300hp so im not hating on demestic,4dr cars stay home with the family

  • So a stock untuned R32, against a top of the line camaro, and not enough of a straight line lead to win around a substantial road race track?

  • HELL YEAH CHEVY IS BETTER!!!

  • Sagaris

  • This model GTR was a killer in its day in the Australian touring car championship were it raced only Holden's and Fords V8s

This car won most of the races it was in then they outlawed the GTR from racing in the Australian touring car champs because "quote- Its not a v8

Hence why they changed the name to "V8 supercars" championships... GTR's were the V8'z worst nightmares in its days... So much respect

  • @Tat2b gtr wasnt banned becuase " quote- Its not aq v8!

  • @Tat2b well a I6 is a V8 biggest rival Not to mention it was racing a holden and a ford thats like little competition plus a V8 is a lot heavier and give too much front end weight punishing cornering speed and weight distribution with added traction issues cuz of too much TQ and not to mention they operate at a lower RPM and gear selection. So the R34 had the upper hand with AWD, I6TT,close gear ratio,REV happy engine, near 50/50 weight, and lighter car

  • @Mpower330csl I really do hate to big up yank tanks, really i do, but unfortunately a chevy ls series v8 is actually lighter than a nissan rb series engine. God it hurt to say that!! Even so, i'd take an R32,3,4, or 35 over a camaro any day!

  • @rastclart really? actually Ill almost take any classic camaro over a R32 or R34 maybe not a R34 cuz i really love that body style. And def. ill pass the R35 i fucken hate that car Ill def choose a classic camaro over a R35

  • thats fucking funny.. asian penis are jus like there engines.. small and dont put out....

  • ya, well two camels in a tiny car

  • LOL

  • @MrTjc14 just like american pussy.they are big and put out a lot.

  • this is why asians have tiny penis

  • not a GTR. there are skylines out there that a chevy cobalt could beat. it all depends on the model.

  • ok comparing domestic cars and imports is fukn stupid its like comparing futbol and american football you cant compare the to 2 diff sports same with the cars there built to do diff things ya in a straight line muscle most of the time will own a import on a track the import will smash on the muscle car and the reason ppl here build there hondas and nissans to b really fast cuz every one out here in america races in a straight line and not at a track

  • wow dunno where you live here in America but we do race in straight lines as well as road courses all the time. Another thing, The Domestics put a hurting on the imports at the road courses. The Domestics don't win all the time but they do win a lot. You should check it out sometime.

  • @egjdmb18c5

Ever heard of a ZR1 Vette? Perhaps the Viper ACR?

  • sti, evo, supra, rx7, even gsx eclipse, domestic cars arent really great for road courses, it actually seems like european cars are the best for that.. where as japanese and domestic are more for a strait line. its just because rather than tuning american and japanese cars, european manufatures make the best out of the car they can factory, so they're as best they can be off the line, not much modding necessary to get best performance

  • yeah but who really can afford a Lambo or Ferrari ? I'd rather buy a car I can afford and then do my own mods to it. Makes you feel good when you can take a $10,000-$20,000 car with a few mods and destroy a $100,000 car. You should try it sometime. lol

  • @sa1911a1 I agree I bought a 00 Audi S4 and did lots of mods to it, Including bigger turbos and a stage 3 computer. Car is a sleeper and Ive only got a total of 22 invested!!! And she will rip the top off cars that cost wayy more!!!

  • @erichockey3 NO other person could of said it better u had to be a eric gotta love euro cars

  • that wasn't even a modded skyline...

  • skylines are much faster than that lol..

  • Muscle 1 Rice 0

  • skylines r cool, but i love the camaro ss as well, that skyline got raped, American Me style, bag o rice an all, lmfao!!!!

  • thats not a GT_R

  • lol whoever drove that skyline sucks and didn't tune it right

SKYLINES ARE THE BEST AND ALL WAYS WILL BE

  • Geo metro > ur skyline

  • Too bad a camaro beat it ;)

  • @krzyflip209

Tell that to a Supra, or this Camaro. :D

  • is there anyone on youtube that can appreciate that the yank and jap cars each have pro's and con's or is it just kids bitchin about whos dads or mates have the best cars? how the hell can you people compare something with more cylinders and a much bigger cc?! its like comparing a 50cc scooter to a superbike.

  • well the 50cc scooter shouldn't be made to RACE

  • well no shit the ss will win in a straight line, that's what they're built for and that's what they do really well. id pick the skyline over the ss any day though. i prefer curvy roads not straight ones.

  • It's always fun to stomp ricers from stoplights though >=)

  • haha i guess. i prefer corners myself. but what ever floats your boat. as long as you don't rice out your muscle and make it look like it came out of fast and furious im cool with it. (:

  • Here's my take on things, people buy ricers because they're extremely cheap and are easy zip-around cars for the price, plus if you break it, so what you're out how many hundred?

When people get a little more money they enter the muscle tier (yes, its a higher level of performance, argue all you want, it wont change the fact) most tuner guys tell me "if i had the money for muscle id take it in a heartbeat" Its just the tuner guys that get all up their own ass that are annoying lol

  • You know i would have almost believed you IF, tuners cost the same or more than muscle. I MIGHT have believed you IF, tuner aftermarket parts weren't more costly than american parts. Thats FACT! Now there are cars out there that respon better to parts, but believe american parts are cheaper and so are the cars. That is if you live in the U.S.

  • I was talking about the kids that take their grandma's Honda, strip the paint and add a cold air intake and call it a race car, LOL, being versusthe guy who buys an 02' Trans Am or somethin, as for the big name tuner stuff like real Nismo racing stuff and not just cheapo intakes on 80s Hondas then yeah it gets pretty costly but that can come to be expected from all performance parts...modern muscle is much better about mod pricing but modding those 60s and 70s cars is expensive as hell

  • CAMARO WINS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • camaro will always win because its a american car and it has more horsepower now if it was off road evo or skyline would win 4 wheel drive but less horsepower

  • dude loose the mullet.

  • Camaros and mustangs are cheap.... so they're gonna have more redneck fans. GET USED TO IT. The more refined folks will always appreciate the more notable cars made by these "import" companies. It really doesn't matter which ones are faster - imports aren't the disposables anymore -- they're the ones that'll still be around 10+ years from now (unless they get tree-wrapped). My second Camaro is an abortion of engineering. It's a 97 Z28 and ownership is just too costly! In short, it's a turd.

  • My 98 LS1 TA ran like a champ. I never once had a problem with it.

  • So why the past tense "ran" ? Kinda implies it's over. My '90 and '95 Nissans STILL run no problems. however my '97 Z28 -- lots of problems in the last few years. All normal crap though just real expensive to own -- as I said before.

  • I say ran because I traded it in about 2 years ago for a new truck.

  • EXACTLY, so you're really not qualified to speak on the longevity of this car because -- you got rid of the turd. I guess the next lucky owner was left holding the bag of crap, RIGHT? Hey, I think it's great you got rid of it before you got stung. You got a couple of years of fun -- super. Consider yourself lucky. Of course you still had the HUGE depreciation working against you, but thats kinda common with GM. Peace.

  • Exactly the son of the dealership owner has it down at the drag strip every weekend. Still running like a champ.

  • The only problem i have with my LS1 is replacing tires. I guess if I had a civic it wouldnt be an issue but oh well

  • hahaha! You know I have that same problem with my new car.

  • haha

  • In all reality, Danlzip, the vast majority of import owners that you see at the drag strip enter the sport compact scene because the cars are incredibly cheap to first get into. The high costs only come into play when you gotta do extensive work just to make it a 12 second car. I love Subaru WRX's and want to own one, but I'm a drag racer, so I'll take a Camaro SS over that any day on the basis of consistency & reliability alone. Can't go rounds if you're always breaking shit.

  • Comment removed

  • and when I say Camaro SS, I should specify that I'm talking about the LS1 Camaro. I like the engineering in the 98-02. Can't really speak for the LT1 Camaros of the 90's.

  • that camaro fucked your jap shit up

  • man jap can beat that little tiny toy in to piece

  • no surprise there...

  • yea its only common sense and r32 would loose. now if it was an r34 it would be the other way around.

  • not really. An LT4 F-body is still faster than a R34.

  • @sa1911a1 Even a stock LT1 is faster than a Skyline R34.

  • @vfIskullangel Maybe a GTS or GTT trim but the R34 GT-R does mid to low 13s in the 1/4. The best you can get out of a bone stock LT1 Camaro SS is a low 14. LT1s are slow as shit and handle a lot worse than R34 GT-Rs do.

  • @kageryu311 Stock LT1 vette run's high 13's with a good driver. Stock LT1 Camaro's couldn't run 13's without a set of drag slicks.

  • Wow that Skyline is way more expensive than that Camaro and it got its ass whooped.

  • that skyline costs less dipshit and stock to stock takes the camaro any day... but no biggie. the more modded of these two won. no suprise

  • Are you on CRACK? A Skyline costs so much to import into the United States. Let alone that it is already expensive to begin with.

    And a stock R32? I don't think so.

A stock LT4 Motor puts out around 330 at max. The highest level R32 (The GT-R) puts out a max of 276 and thats with a Twin Turbo system. And in this race, the horsepower played a huge factor.

So yes an Lt4 camaro would take that car stock for stock.

  • what are you talking about? its an r32, you can find those for literally 2000$

  • Where? Those are illegal in the US and you have to import them for a large sum of money.

  • um a gtr costs about 10-15k. i know I was looking at buying one. the gtr is drastically underated due to a gentlemans agreement. it actually puts out about 320-330 stock. plus there is a little manual boost restriction. pull the tab out and your looking at around 350 hp, stock. plus it's awd and lighter. there is no possible way stock to stock the camaro can win. sure the camaro is a great car and capable of huge numbers but the rb26dett is much more advance

  • Wow 350 with a Twin Turbo............lol

Thats sad. And where in the hell are you finding a GT-R costing around 10-15K? I don't believe that one bit.

  • ya no... thats stock. the engine is capable of over 600 on completely stock internals. it was built for track racing in which you don't just see how high of hp u can get cause that leaves you f'ed in the wrong class

  • I know its stock. An 03/04 Cobra is capable of over 1000rwhp horsepower on stock internals.

And you would go to turns because you import people have drag envy ;)

Fact is, LT4 smoked the RB26 fair and square.

Btw, where in the hell can you find a Skyline for 10-15K? I'm still waiting.

  • the skyline also doesn't need 20 grand to do it. mustangs are pieces of shit. at least camaros look and perform well. how the hell is it drag envy? pretty much the fastest streetable car out there is the supra. how bout this one, 13,900

  • youtube wont let me post the link. go on craigslist... theyre everywhere

  • Btw thanks for showing me that site, I'm finding some good deals on Camaros lol

  • Cobras actually are the fastest streetable car. Like I said, 1000rwhp on stock internals. Probably higher than that.

20 grand? A Foxbody Mustangs can go 10's woth slicks and nitrous for a little under 3k. An LS1 Camaro can do 11's for around 2500-3000.

Face it, imports should stick to Drifting and Touge while Muscle Cars should stick to drag racing. (Well there are a alot of American cars that are good fro track racing too).

  • np lol. supras can run 7s with a streetable car. they're both damn fast

  • All I can say is the fastest street legal car is Chevy powered buddy ;) lol

  • Comment removed

  • Oh and ummmm I live in America, not Canada. A Skyline would cost ALOT more here. I don't even know if you can drive one from Canada into the U.S. but then the DMV would be all over your ass because R33s and R32s are illegal.

  • welcome to america

  • put as much money into the camaro as you would in the skyline.

    camaro still sounds better :)

  • lets see a 2010 skyline gtr vs a 2010 camaro ss

  • There is no 2010 Skyline.

  • yea there is i dont see why they would drop the name but the r35 skyline gtr in shown on nissan own dealer site

  • the thing is look at the huge price difference in the 2 cars. i would take the camaro and put the at least 30k price differnce in the car and be untouchable

  • yea ur right BUT how many skylines do u see? the camero is a nice car but there like 10 NEW cameros and no newer (R35,R34) skylines (that ive seen) in this city

  • the skyline will be worth alot more that the camaro in the future due to how rare it is. but if you want to make a racer with over 1000hp. the camaro wiil be a much better choice.

  • ya can do that with a skyline as well it will cost u more but u get 4wd and the rare car either way IF you know what ur doing both are sweet rides

  • are you on crack? that skyline costs about 10k not 50

  • Check that shit again ...it says 2010 GT-R and 2010 GT-R only.

  • ya i kno i said "i dont know why they would drop the name" and fyi alot of people refer the R35 GT-R as a skyline same as the mx5 and the name miata

  • Lol wouldnt matter if the skyline got off the line faster.. who says it didnt, soon as you hear those V8 cubes scream its bye bye , Lol at civic, couldnt drag a greazy stick out of a dogs ass

  • Whoever was drivin that skyline don't know how to handle it becuase syylines get off the line quicker then that

  • Badass in a straight line, put that shit in a track. With right and left hand turns.

  • LOL wat would be funny is dat out of nowhere a civic passes the camaro:)

  • haha a civic yeah right...like if that will ever happen

  • unfortunatly i think this is an rb20 skyline

  • why cant all import fans see that the more cylinders a car has under the hood, the more power and the faster it will go.

yes you can put 1500hp under a 6-cylinder, but you can easily put just as much under a v8 and still have room for 1000+ hp.

oh btw i like both muscle and import.

my favs are the zr1vette and Fd rx7 :D

  • very true but no one seems to get that, theres a reason theres no 4cylinder or 6 in top fuel, v8 is just more powerful

  • sorry to break ur bubbles tuner fans but it all started by muscle cars, no wait hot rods in the 40's driftin around dirt tracks. so get ur shit together and stop sayin that tuners are the greatest there not. im 15 and i know moer shit on cars then u so STFU!! muslce all the way.

  • Hell yea, your on the right track.

V8's will always be the best

  • hehe im a rotary head but i do love V8's. honestly if i could get my hands on a miata i would pop a V8 in there lol. monster miata's ftw buddeh lol

  • could it even fit in there? lol

  • surprisingly yes lol. google it/youtube it. they are scary fast.

  • anyone see the new nissan gtr get owned by the zr1 corvette it was a beautiful thing it even got beat on the TURNS which u ricers always talk so much shit about, i know there are fast imports out there but u cant say muscle goes in a straight line only there are plenty of muscle cars that are drift champs and if you can get 1200 hp out of a supra or skyline spend as much as u did on those on a v8 guarantee u will get more hp

  • i love see V8 n/a smoking turbo jap cars,,

    jajajaja

  • LoL @ reptone15. he dont know what he is talking about. Face the truth man Muscle cars is > Imports. Slap a turbo or twin turbo on a Muscle car its game over man. I love how import try to stick up for there piece of shit when there is a video that just showed who is better. Which is muscle. now GTFO.

  • both are fast cars, just depends on the driver, but camaro ss does low 13s stock and that skyline does mid 13s stock

  • Cheers DXA, Look at these import fanboi's OHH 800hp , 1200hp !!

Big deal, V8's produce 8500hp in top fuel and run under 4 sec quarters. And yes import fans, thats with pushrod V8's. No RB26 or 2JZ makes anywhere near that. SO in end game, Cubes wins (as the video shows) and imports are for fags :) cheers

  • fuck you you know that skyline should have won, that pussy ass drivers sucks get a real driver behind the wheel of that skyline. imports have Way more potential than any domestic car. domestics come fast imports are made fast . besides everyone knows that muscle cars suck

  • i dont care wether its muscle or import as long as its fast and for every fast import theres a fast domestic yall are retarded

  • what do you drive?

  • american muscle beats import every time

  • lol ive beat many a mustang gt or Z28 in my eclipse GSX just keep thinking that dude

  • hell yeah go GSX! my friend got a gsx. fast as fuckkk. u got an vids of ure gsx?

  • nah not yet just got it two weeks ago had a LS vtec CRX before that traded + 2k for the GSX miss the crx but in love with awd now. already planning on getting a STi wrx or evo next maybe VR4 or stealth R/T. beating a corvette from a dig was wat sold me on awd. u should check out my other vids of me n my friends just fucking around lol

  • you should get a wrx sti. powns like a fuckeR!

  • actually i do have a short clip but it was back when my friend owned it its should be the DSM eclipse and Supra messing around

  • whatever nigga...

  • Yep...Yep...

  • that dude driving the nissan was'nt even race shifting at all, or he had no boost on the motor. if he did he would have wiped the floor with the piece o shit camaro.

  • lol ugly camaro... but good race!

  • I will agree. What is the suspension like on those? I've been told handeling is lacking but I wouldn't know. I'm not too big a fan of Corvettes. I like the color and company but the original looks better to me.

  • Now that you have seen this look up SkyLine R34 800hp vs Modified Camaro with NOS and see which one is better.

  • 800hp skyline. A modified camaro with nos isn't enough. A modified c6 Z06 with nos is more than enough.

  • you can get waaaaaaay more than 800hp out of a v8. 43 v8's with over 800hp turn left all day every sunday

  • you can get waaaaaaay more than 800hp out of a Skyline too. The average seems to be around 1200hp.

  • LordKrieg1.Your 0 key seems to be sticking. Those small displacement engines cant handle boost and charge like a V8.If a 4 or 6 cylinder engine is modified to make 800HP it is short lived. Those old American V8s are used in drag cars making 5000HP.0-100mph in one second!!!! I guess you ricers dont realize American muscle has evolved.

  • 2JZ and RB26 can handle 1200hp on stock blocks. There are countless YouTube videos to prove it. I love how people have such huge problems beleiving anything but Camaro's and Mustang's can handle horsepower.

Guess you muscle heads don't realize you don't need 8 cylinders to make over 1000hp.

  • And where did you see v8's with 5000 hp that you can use everyday?

  • TGASN.Learn to read.I said DRAG CARS.Everyday drivers arent the subject. 1200HP Skylines arent everyday drivers either.Your missing the point. 5000HP is the extreme end.

  • Yes i get the point, and i read clearly that you said 'DRAG CARS".. Waht i'm trying to say is i have seen many 800hp skylines that can run everyday on the street but you just gotta live with the huge expenses on maintaining them... the point is you can daily drive an 800hp car but 1200hp and up.. haven't seen one yet.. cheers...

  • American Muscle always beats import
