  • amazing,photo shop improved to a breaking point...love it!

  • Good afternoon, i'd like to know if it si possible use TOPAZ B&W Effects with an italian version of Photoshop CS3!

    Thank you for the answer

    Marco Ziglioli

  • @loziglio69 Hi Marco, Yes you should be able to plug-in to an Italian version of Photoshop. :) Best, Nichole

  • Sweet

  • This actually seem like a really good plug-in! Nice demo of it as well; looks like I'll need to add this one to my wish list.

  • Just bought and installed it. Gonna have fun!!!

  • Compatible with Mac?

  • I can't wait for this product! Very exciting. Topaz products are the heart of my workflow and I wouldn't want to be without ANY of them. Thank you Topaz!

  • Can't wait to try it out!

  • YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! This is a big FAT deal. The other black and white effects out there are quite nice, but quite pricey. I have always been amazed and THANKFUL that such products of EXCELLENCE from Topaz come at such an AFFORDABLE PRICE! Thank you thank you thank you!!

  • @ytmac8 B&W styler is inexpensive as well..Just FYI :)

  • @kevinebrine Yes, it sure is. I tried out their demo and I DID like what they offered. Just wanted to see if good ol' Topaz was a step up. =)

  • @ytmac8 I'll be checking it out as well!! Keep clicking :)

  • Looks nice. How about a de-esser for the sound on the video?

  • Will it work with Photo Impact? Some Topaz do and some don't.

  • @psychicdisruption B&W Effects will work with Photo Impact. The only program that shouldn't is ReMask, because it has to have a host with layers capabilities.

  • @topazlabs Thank you for replying.

  • Most of my photos end up in B&W so I am supper excited about this addition....thank you so much

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Same as DKTSONIC, I absolutely love my Silver Efex also, but this product will surely be added to my Topaz collection. The fact that we can work on a specific point is highly interesting

    Can't wait to try this

    Keep up the good work

  • I want it and I want it now! Any idea of price and when?

  • @gwpics Not sure of the exact price, but it will be in our product price range, and it should be out next week! Glad you're excited :) -Nichole

  • I presently use the Topaz bundle and this looks like an interesting addition. I would suggest that your make adjusting the brush size easier. I press the Alt key while clicking the left mouse button dragging the mouse to adjust the size in Paintshop Pro Photo and this would be a good addition to the program. I look forward to the webinar.

  • Although I use PSCS5, I will be getting this — mainly because in producing a quarterly in InDesign that's printed in B&W, I have to convert a lot of colour images to B&W, and also improve old B&W photos. PS does fine, but it takes a fair bit of time when I'm working on a lot of images. This well mean less time and a more specific approach! So thanks.

  • Compatible with Aperture? Lightroom?

  • @hiltyd Yes, B&W Effects is compatible with Aperture and Lightroom.

  • I happen to think that looks like an amazing product. I own Silver Efex 2 but when you think that this program is probable going to cost about 1/4 of the cost of that one, it sounds not only like a good deal, but a GREAT way of getting people with lower budgets into black and white photography, which by itself is a pretty worthy cause. Good job, Topaz! (btw, I'm a proud owner of Simplify and Clean!)

  • Looks very exciting!

  • looks pretty good!

  • Interesting demo' movie which, given this product's concurrent abilities with others - including other Topaz products - what is its pricing and availability?

  • @ishootpeople95070 I'm not sure of the specific price, but it will be consistent with our product price range and we will be offering a significant introductory discount. The scheduled release is sometime next week. :) -Nichole

  • Hi guys, I love Denoise, Detail, inFocus and Clean. I will admit though this product doesn't seem revolutionary, I absolutely love Silver Effex (I know it's pricier), however I will be willing to give this a go. The ability to select an arbitrary point and adjust at will as well as the different film types available to give you tone/shadow responses is what makes silver effex so fantastic. Keep up the good work, and I'll eagerly await it.

  • Cel-Shaded*

  • Is there anyway to make something similar to vector magic but more realistic like vexel/shell shade?

  • I agree with Truman Photography. Nice - but in these tough times I would not spend money on this. I think the Topaz plug-ins are amazing and make my life as a conceptual artist so much easier, but these are easy enough to do in PS.

  • Thanks for the feedback! All is appreciated. I do not have the specific price yet, but I can say it will be consistent with our product price range and we will be offering a significant introductory discount. The scheduled release is sometime next week, and we're still developing and enhancing this program as I type. :) -Nichole

  • nice but is not even close to Silver efex 2 by Nik Software

  • @frank392 I thought 1.0 rocked my world, but when 2.0 came out and had U-point feature, it BLEW MY MIND.

  • If it was Free it would be OK, but every program has this effect - PS, PSP and your very own Topaz Adjust 4 if you know how to use them...

  • I can't wait to get this product and give it a try! Thank You Topaz Labs!

  • Very nice. When is it available to the public and how much will it cost?
