  • Too much weight, lighten it up , slow it down and don't use a spotter. Using a spotter means you had too much to start with.

  • Not necessarily. Near the end of the set a spotter can ensure to keep making perfect reps instead of adjusting your stance to get the last rep out.

  • You have no idea what your talking about. To gain muscle mass and strength the ONLY reps that count are failure reps. (failure reps will see results 10x faster than someone who quits when tired and doesnt use a spotter. Spotter is a must.

  • i Agree with faliure, however my point is to build a good bicep with definition, lighter weights and reps (like about 30 - faliure). The guy in the vid has a good size arm but no definition at all. High in body fat.
