  • I want ti say that it's a peregrine falcon, but I'm not sure if that species lives in Australia. It's either some kind of Kite Species or it's some kind of falcon since both types of raptors feed on other birds.

  • cupcakes

  • You have the most awesome comebacks to trolls. You are an idol to all Anti-trolls out there.

  • @lolnarutosage 99% of trolls are low ranks, real easy to make them look super stupid

  • @leokimvideo True, they need to put more effort in, for a bigger challenge. They have weak heads, just hit 'em where it hurts lol

  • the bird of chuck norris O.o

  • That's awesome.

  • aww

  • its a bird

  • its a sparrow hawk

  • half pidgin and half hawk?

  • bird canabilism??? i thought they ate worms and stuff

  • @bigstupidjellyfish18 there r species that kill other smaller birds, sometimes they do it in mid flight

  • Yes why save a bird when you could just video it instead.

  • @KittixReddie just go back and re-think your statement

if i went in to save a bird, the killer bird would have nothing to eat or feed it's young, now have a real think there and get back to which bird I saved

i'm really surprised how many people forget this is nature at work, circle of life stuff, birds can't go to the supermarket to buy pre-killed meals to eat

  • @leokimvideo I was joking.

  • @KittixReddie i'm not

  • @leokimvideo clearly.

  • @leokimvideo Last time I went to the supermarket I'm sure I saw some dead worms for fishing, they should sell that to those damn birds instead of letting them killing each other, Peace on earth! XD (Just kidding)

  • @earthtoella i think grooming your child to death is the sweetest thing a parent could do

  • @TheMasterOfDildos MADNESS? THIS IS SPARTA!!!

  • maybe the victim bird was asking for help and thats why killer was acting so strange i think vote me up if u think the same :D

  • According to Collins Pocket Guide (I have Croatian translation), I would guess that it is sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), because colour of plumage and eyes pretty well looks like picture of sparrowhawk in book. If anything, look at the eyes: bright yellow, as hawks have. Falcons have darkbrown to black.

  • that what happen when you in cheap hair cut

  • wasted 1 mintue an 9 seconds :\

  • @Juliet8880 and a bit more because you trolled a comment in

  • @leokimvideo o.O

  • Did anyone nod at the bird before something died?

  • @Dragoj419 also, it looks like a Goshawk.

  • its a falcon

  • the predator bird seems to be a hawk, but i dont know, what specific kind of....

  • by the way.... he sees you man.. just sayin.

  • It's some type of Falcon, the underbelly looks like that of a peregrine falcon, but the top colour is different so i'd say some type of australian version of the peregrine falcon.

  • the bird looks around like hes doing something wrong

  • is it a COW!!!

    Did i win!

  • @TheMasterOfDildos THIS, IS, SPARTA!!!!

  • jumm, fresh meat

  • @TheMasterOfDildos Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!

  • gos hawk accipiter

  • i had one of those lil birds and one of those hawks things killed it too lmao (:

  • Despite not being a 'bird-watcher', this really captured my interest. I went hunting the internet to find help identify this bird. I recommend checking the following online: 'Professor Paul's Guide to Birds', 'OzAnimals - Australian Wildlife: Birds of Prey', and 'Wild Photography by Steve Oakes'. His photo of the European Sparrowhawk looks very similar to my untrained eye, but I read it's not native to Australia! Maybe you have found a new or migrated species?

  • that bird looks like a cross breed of a hawk and a pigeon....

  • DAMN NATURE.....YOU SCARY!

  • wow looks like a carnivore pigeon

  • Looks like a Cooper's Hawk.

  • He maybe must eat potato's chip with tabasco above?

  • can you name this beutiful killer..... PIDGEON! ( i know its not really...)

  • Parece que un halcón o halcón para mí, pero nunca he visto ningún color así.

Looks like a falcon or hawk to me, but I have never seen any colored like that.

  • That sure looks like a hawk to me, but I have never seen one colored like that.

Pues sí que parece un halcón para mí, pero nunca he visto uno de color así.

  • @leokimvideo it is a pegreine falcon

  • it is a pegreine falcon

  • its not my specialty, but i would dare to say its a falcon due to the beak and its size.

now if it is or not, that idk

  • sparrow hawk and a pigeon

  • @TheMasterOfDildos

    this is sparta!

  • I wanna fuckin punch that bird

  • Why the fuck dident you go to save the bird dumbass who gives a fuck whats the name off it ...

  • @TheMasterOfDildos Madness ? THIS IS SPARTA !

  • I guess its a Falcon eating a Dove, and its pretty normal

  • @TheMasterOfDildos what would be madness is seeing a bird like this eating a frozen cooked dinner

now just re-think who's mad in all this

  • @leokimvideo you are because you filmed it you sick person!!!!

  • @bobino0000

Is David Attenborough sick? Think before you speak.

  • Cannibal :3

  • i hate this bird!! arrg :D

  • This pigeon must've eaten some steroids...

  • looks like a perigrin falcon...?!

  • There was no live-kill. Only a 'dinner for one'.

  • THATS A SWEET EAGLE. FOR ALL YOU SOFTY'S OUT THERE. EAT MEAT! ITS WHATS FOR DINNER.

  • hard knok live

  • omg lol, the prey is being eatin alive, how sad ><

  • Heartbreaking to watch the other bird's struggles and pain. However, since the hawk carried off it's prey, it may have young to feed. Since this is in Australia, I doubt that it is a Peregrine, and since I've worked with Sharp-shinned hawks before that were injured, I can tell you for sure it's not that kind.

  • Falcon? Hawk?

Either way its pretty impressive footage.

  • man i was eating chicken while whatching dis :(

  • That is a falcon, prossibly the Peregrine Falcon

Pray looks like some kind of dove...

Anyways, the falcon looks to be young, and isn't fully detailed in the feathering. They're known for eating other birds.

  • @zylande It is definitely NOT a falcon, and even less Peregrine Falcon. The bird is a hawk. It looks nearly identical to European male Sparrowhawk.

  • Comment removed

  • It's a sparrowhawk and it's definitely grown up, they're quite small.

Its preferred food are smaller Birds, this is a quite big victim.

Funfact: They're very bad hunters, they'll only catch 5-10 birds out of 100 they try to get...

  • his name is azor

  • is that a baby?

  • I think it's beautiful, predator eats prey. That's life and whether or not the prey was alive doesnt' matter, it seems people don't like it when animals do cruel things to each other, but turn a blind eye when humans do far worse...

Also correct on the "Dead" food we eat, its hard to find food thats That fresh, unless you live on a farm...

  • Sharp shin Hawk to me...

  • @maxinpains I thought so too but look how the pattern on its underside is side-to side instead of striped up and down.

  • prey bird: wtf man i'm still alive! STOP IT DAMMIT!!!

killer bird: shut up hoe! *plucks out more feathers to get to flesh*

    0:18

  • Well, if you want to consider the trials of being a bird of prey and killing your prey birds... I had a Red Tailed hawk that would fly into my back yard and snatch up the pigeons, then smack them abruptly into my chain link fence to break their necks. If they didn't stop twitching the first time, it would just grab it and do it again. lol... the lazy way to make a kill.

  • aahw poor birdy! <3 rip birdy..

  • HAHA birds still alive wtf

  • Thumbs down just for the insurance commercial!!!!! I HATE insurance commercials!

  • Nice video!

It looks like a Brown Goshawk

  • i love @shane1v's response. lots of people love to eat animals as long as they dont have to do the killing or witness it. this is nature at its best, untouched by humans. if you dont like it dont watch it and go back to your supermarket and get your food, because you dont have to fight for your food to stay alive

  • Im sorry to tell you jmdsnow but this is most definately not a peregrine Falcon....nice set of stats though, although peregrines have been known to go faster than that, and the dive is called a stoop..the peregrine is a member of the falcon family. This raptor is an accipiter or a (true hawk), my best guess is that it is a collared sparrowhawk...(accipiter cirrhocephalus) but I may well be wrong

  • This is Chuck Norris pet

  • Das ist ein Sperber Accipiter nisus Englisch Sparrow Hawk Türkisch Atmaca

  • nature is SO weird

  • wtf man

  • its seems to have pinned down a dove 0o

  • KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • why has helicopter crash accidents sent me here?!

  • @EarosioN they both include flight fails lol the helocopter because it crashed (fail) and the bird being plucked alive (fail)

  • the idea of meat that fresh is making my mouth water. Compaired to the meat i get that has been dead for god knows how long... that bird knows how to eat!

  • DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!

  • It looks like a sharp sheen hawk. They look the same like the coopers hawk but smaller.

  • all i see is chuck norris feeding his baby birds

  • ohh I would love to have that falcon as my pet....so exotic!!!!

  • Dunno if you've identified this bird, but it is a Accipiter striatus, in Brazil it is popularly called "gavião-miudo", I have helped!

  • It looks like a falcon,....I think.

  • the zombies have begun

  • The bird type is a NSW Labour politician.

  • Australian brown goshawk, stunning bird. Poor dove but that is the way it goes in nature

  • thats what happens when you go to a cheap hair cutter

  • It's a Black Goshawk, native to Australia.

  • EL ASESINO ES EL QUE LE A ATADO AL PAJARO PARA GRABAR ESTAS IMAGENES MIN 0:17

  • Looks like the 8 thumbs down want this bird to go to the supermarket to feed it's young. Lets hope they don't come back as birds next life! If they do they will starve.

  • 0:18 "Hey, fucking stop."

  • Looks like a Peregrine Falcon, The fastest bird alive...capable of 180 mph in a dive, They hunt mainly Doves, Ducks and other water foul. Used to be the most widespread of daytime birds of prey, but no more...need to eat more Pidgeons I guess...

  • oh poor bird... it was still alive... i wish the eagle or hawk would have killed it first... but it is true... thats the food chain.. rip bird=(

  • Awesome footage though... beautiful hawk whatever kind it is ... It is ashame they dont kill their prey first ,, they are soo ruthless ..

  • @guahould The aspect of the live kill has many concerned here. Now that has be thinking do we expect this bird to go to the local shops and pick off the dead food we live on?

Surely the way this beautiful bird collects food is natural, I don't see the ruthless aspect to this. All I see is a circle of life which we as humans seem to be detached from.

  • @leokimvideo i should bite ur arm 20 times while ur pinned down then put you in the back of my car and take you to my house?

  • @guahould True, but Nature knows no quarter.....

  • @guahould kkk

  • Nothing beautiful about an animal suffering a slow cruel death. It's nature, but it ain't "beautiful"

  • @shane1v Nothing cruel here, it's the circle of life at play. The beautiful aspect to this is the killer! What a stunning bird, whatever the bird is seems to be so many different answers.

Have we boxed ourselves in so much we are no longer able to see not all life depends on buying food which is already dead.

  • @leokimvideo WTF MAN YOU COULD SAVE THAT BIRD AND GIVEN SOMETHING TO EAT TO THAT KILL BIRD!!

  • @leokimvideo what your comment above states isnt what all these city vegetarian animal rights people believe.

friend, beware of animal rights they are as worse as al quaida with their beliefs.

  • @leokimvideo It's a sparrowhawk.

  • @shane1v It is so much fun to kill useless pests like pigions, starlings, barnswallows, field mice, Rats, snakes, wild rabbits, and even ferrel cats are fair game, there all nusance creatures and exterminating a house from vile pests is good work and I enjoyedand everyone loved a clean house but asshole didn't want to pay me for my workm so I allowed ine little or 2 mice to live so they'd return and I threw more food into the wall for the little one,. I told the stunod theywere dead and pay me..

  • @shane1v The question was "Can you name this beautiful killer", not "Can you name this beautiful kill". : |

  • Better he than me.

  • This bird is a Sparrowhawk-Male.

  • Omg the Bird he's eating was still alive ;( You can see it moving at 18 :O

I feel so bad like its plucking the bird!!!!

  • eating a peaceful dove

  • O RLY?

  • @JESSEBOi8500

People like you are the reason why most people think Americans are stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • @JESSEBOi8500 wow.. are you retarded?

  • That bird plucked that other bird's feathers while he was still alive ¤_¤

    Nature's awesome!

  • @JESSEBOi8500 lol. Talk about stupidity...

  • Good for you not to interupt her kill, it may have been 3 or 4 days since the last one, and could be 3 or 4 till the next thats a big gap and could have been fatal for her.

  • ok, about 22 million chickens die every day, we kill for the most part quick and clean, that bird is not just holding on to a KFC 'if i drop the bucket i go back and get another' its holding on to its life, had the dove swooped left instead of right, or a bit quicker straight on it wouldnt have got caught, its talons are not big enough for a dove so it didnt kill on the take, but its making sure it will not get away by plucking the flight feathers out, its life, its death, its evolotion in action.

  • I may be wrong, but it looks like a lizard buzzard (the BOP). The prey almost looks like a quail dove.

  • He wasn't killing him or eating him.He was just shaving him because the bird made fun of his mom.

  • @rabbidkevinbot God that was funny!!!!! You must have played sports in high school.

  • nice vid........thanks

  • Birds can be canibalistic spelled that wrong! But not many are but saying that this one is.... I find it every odd.

  • see the bird? its got crazy eyes! O_O

  • Accipiter fasciatus. It´s a male Goshawk.

  • This bird of prey is named Accipiter fasciatus. It´s a Goshawk !!!

  • she or he is name Shahen in my country.

    thanks

  • The bird is a species of goshawk, native to Oz. The prey is a dove, and appears to be a collared dove, introduced to Oz.

  • cruel indeed but that's how nature goes... A beautiful bird anyways

  • @SolarboyRockman

exactly, it's sad viewers are not seeing this is a natural act, if I stopped the bird of prey from feeding it would have missed a meal. Seems many think all meals come pre-killed, they are really showing their lack of understanding of the circle of life.
