  • if lcd pixels "on" doesn't have backlight then lcd is 50 times less power than oled. but lcd w/ backlight is more 40% power than oled ;)

  • good luck seeing anything with no back-light on an lcd, if i remeber right the gameboy colour wasn't back-lite and that was pretty hard to see if you didnt have a light shinning directly on it.

  • I already played my cousin's gameboy color advance. but I also saw very hard. but in solar I saw not hard, ;)

  • @ricarnuninho80 you cant speak english man... couldnt understand anything you said... learn the language before spiting it out on public spaces

  • @LauxRO sorry for bad english. ;) but you are less understand than they my message. :P lool

  • @LauxRO don't be exaggerated . the message was pretty clear and understadable; moreover, we're not here to talk about linguistics... what truly mattered was communication rather than accuracy.

  • @perrokuky that is true. but it is impossible to deny that it would be way more efficient if he could actually articulate the words correctly. i'm brazilian, but that doesn't represent an obstacle in my accuracy when i write messages and comments. actually, unlike a lot of my people, i can speak as good as i write and with less accent than most foreigners. (by eastern USA's accent standards, that is)

  • @LauxRO Spitting*

  • @ricarnuninho80

    yes that's actually true

that's why most tv have a backlight off power saving option

it just turns the backlight off after a certain period of time, but not the actual pixels

the pixels consumes virtually no energy as the backlight is just like a ultra bright strip of light that consume lots of energy
