Well for this pho video there over 10,000 dumb white people that must be retarded and maybe hospitalized I don't know I am not a DR. There is a chance that a few of these people have never been out of our Country let alone to Vietnam, and want to experience the national breakfast of Vietnam. They may wonder how, when a bowl of pho is brought to your table how do you eat it. It's not a can of soup. But in the end you must be right. The first time I hade pho 40 years ago I had no idea what to do.

I see that you have had Pho in Korea so have I and it's not good to say the least. Have not been to all the Pho joints in Korea but what I saw was way off base and they did not have basil at most places. The type used in Italian food is typically called sweet basil, as opposed to Thai basil (O. basilicum var. thyrsiflora) which are used in Asia. The last time I checked Vietnam is in Asia.

Ah man, first off you spilled it everywhere :P Another thing is that you mispronounced the name of the dish "Fuh" is the pronunciation actually. I would strongly suggest yelping a good pho tai restaurant and just skip all of the extras because a great bowl should never need hot sauce, fish sauce, or hoisin. I will admit though, a salute to a fellow fish sauce loving westerner. Either way, still you get many points for being cultured in my book.

Salmonella can survive outside of a human/animal body for weeks.

According to Yahoo Answers, Salmonella dies after being exposed to 130º F heat for ONE HOUR. It also stated that the average way to protect against Salmonella is to have the internal temperature of the meat at least 167º F for ten minutes. He let it sit in broth that wasn't even boiling for around a minute.
